L- Pours a straw colored beer with a small wimpy head.
S-Malty, sweet, hoppy, wheat-y.
T-Grassy, slightly bitter flavor that's honestly an extremely well balanced flavor. Very mellow too.
F- Crisp and mellow. Very nice.
O-Decent, mellow and enjoyable wack on a German style. I float over to Dallas from time to time. If you're in the area and have it in your sights, it's a little pricey for what it is but it isn't bad nonetheless.

I just don't understand how lagers get rated so low on BA. Especially high quality ones like this. If you don't think this is a fine lager, tell me what you are marking it down on. It has the classic mowed/ready-to-bale grassiness of the finest German lagers. Delicate hops aroma, perfect malt balance, carbonation that is spot-on. Absolutely no DMS/ diacetyl discernible to me. In my opinion, this is only one very small notch under the best German lagers (Weihenstephaner, Spaten, et al) and way better than common German imports like Becks, St. Pauli Girl, Warsteiner, to name a few. Actually tastes pretty German which is unusual for American attempts at German styles. I think this is an extremely well-made brew. I could drink it every day, especially during our hot Texas summers.

The Texas Brewmasters are at it again those folks in Fredericksburg have gotten me forgetting they make other brews in places like Alaska? This lager should be called Texas' Lager... With its sweet malty twist the bitters are hidden, but undeniable...Take it to contest...

Pours a clear yellow golden color with white head. Cereal grains mostly on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes pretty crisp and clean. Decent lager, nothing too fancy, but very light and drinkable.
