Recently I had a 3 day stay in Bend and 3 day stay in the Hood River area. This beer was by far the highlight of my trip, even after visiting Boneyard, Crux, Double Mountain, Good Life, Bend Brewing, Deschutes, and others.

45 IBU's.

Love the color of this one. Dirty gold, with a nice plump head. Nose hollers spice, slight pine, earthiness, and blueberry. Hints of malt sweetness.

Taste is mild honey, caramel, married with piney-spice, rising citrus and soft blueberries. The finish is dry with hints of grain. Really nice. The sweetness of the malt seems to embrace the flavors of the mosaic hops perfectly. The malt lets the hops shine but never stops trying to play the perfect supporting role. Simply outstanding where flavor is concerned.

Lastly, it should speak volumes that on our way out of Hood River we stopped to fill two growlers with this wonderful beer. Very glad I have another waiting for me. Good Luck Pfriem, I cannot wait to support you and see what you do next!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a fine two finger white head with great retention and lots of lacing. Hop aroma on opening the bottle. Aroma of citrus hops, tropical fruit, a bit dank, light caramel malt and apple juice. Inviting. Flavor of light caramel malt with light biscuit, citrus and mild piney hops, tropical fruit (leaning towards papaya and mango rather than pineapple), light stone fruit, apple juice. Medium bodied with a quite nice creaminess and mouth feel. Pretty much everything I want from a pale ale; flavorful malt body with several malt flavors in good balance, nice fruit oriented hops and a lingering finish that is amazingly well balanced between malt and hops. I love intense hop bombs with long lingering hop bitterness, but this reminds me of what's possible with a great integration between the malt and hops that lingers. There is also a hint of Belgian yeast that fits this quite well. Excellent.

Citrusy, juicy. Unbelievable beer. Nice fresh grapefruit and oranges with a hint of spice and pine. Ridiculously flavorful and refreshing. Pick this beer up.

These guys are killing breweries in oregon. Just crushing them. This beer is perfection. Pored from bottle with a date of a week ago huge aromas of citrus and a crystal clear almost macro color with a closer look revealing slight particles suspended could it be hops well hope so. Taste is tropical all the ways dare I say juicy. For a mosaic hopped beer this is what you will want and what you will expect.

Appearance: Clear burnt orange with a finger of white head. Sheets of lacing left throughout.

Aroma: very citrusy. Grapefruit, oranges, orange peel, mangos and pineapple. Hints of pine and grass.

Taste: Hop forward. Excellent citrus bitterness on the front end. Very fresh tasting and juicy. There's big notes of grapefruit, pineapple and ripe mangos. Hint of pine and yeast on the back end.

From the freshness dated (32 days old) 500 ml bottle into a perfect pint glass results in a very pretty light golden body capped by a nice head that stays around for quite a while.
Aroma is superb with tropical fruit notes, ripe mango comes to mind
Taste is also very good light malt sweetness balanced perfectly with the tropical fruit forward hops slight bitterness is evident.
Very easy to drink, surprisingly light body that just goes down fast
Obviously a very carefully crafted beer, just one hop varietal leaves no room for flaws, this has none.
