330 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Deep brown. Small khaki head. Thick collar.

Smell - Hmm. Soy sauce. A bit acidic. Some cherry. Wood. Dark malts.

Taste - Tart. Very malty. Caramel and dark malts. Has less, but a bit, of that soy sauce. Woody.

Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Medium carbonation. Moderate sourness.

Overall - Crazy, like all BFM beers.

Aroma of cherries, tart vinous, oak, spices. Taste woody sourness, red wine, dark fruit, cherries. Not a typical Eisbock but nice!

11.5oz pop top bottle poured into a tulip
(A)- Pours a dark burnt sienna brown color with a nice cream colored froth with great retention and lacing
(S)- Deep bready aromas with mountains of raisin and leather with a baked bread and biscuit finish
(T)- Quite similar to the smell. A deep leathery raisin meets some dry bready yeast notes. Finishes ever so slightly tart
(M)- A good carbonation level and balance. Slight tartness adds complexity. Quite sweet and bitter at the same time
(O)- An enjoyable Eisbock that is very deep and rich with its leathery raisin profile
