500 ml bottle into imperial pint glass, bottled on 11/2/2015. Pours crystal clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a small dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, slight dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, slight dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, herbal, light smoke, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from roast/hop bitterness as well. Light carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is an outstanding English style cream stout! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, lactose, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Spot on English malt complexity, with an awesome mouthfeel. A highly enjoyable offering.

Balanced and slightly sweet with a Near black brown color, this beer showcases peat smoke with coffee and cocoa nibs in the palette. The aroma has a pleasantly peaty bread aroma, along with a nice and mildly smoked chocolate aftertaste. The stout also has a very nice mouthfeel that goes well with the subtle carbonation of the beer. This can have a roasty characteristic that’s not so obnoxiously bitter compared to other roasty stouts. While the cream stouts are not my forte, this is a solid stout for its category. I recommend trying out their Old-Style Porter as well.

It's not a bad beer but to me it's not worth the price (I paid 5.49 for a pint bottle). Not much smell, A light cream flavor but it has a metallic aftertaste.

St Peter's Cream Stout, 6.5% ABV, 34 IBU. Not much nose - OK I must fess up here - I have a lousy sense of smell. For all I know this smells like baby unicorns. Pours dark and thin, one finger of tan head which mostly dissipated while I tried to get an in-focus picture. Palate is sweet with some coffee bitterness. Not bad.

Listed in the "1001 Beers To Drink Before You Die," this one will have to wait for my review as I can't find my notes.

Poured a very dark brown into a tall glass. Not much head but good lacing. Nice rich smell and taste. Definitely coffee and some dark chocolate. A very enjoyable beer and I love the shape of the bottle!
