Nice pour with a hazy golden color to it. Wasn't too crazy with the smell though initially. But after letting it sit a minute and taking another whiff of it definitely grew on me. Decent amount of carbonation. Didn't get much of a head at all. The taste was good. Definitely refreshing. Taste almost has a sweet suttle honey taste to it. A little bit of malt in there with it to mix some hops. Overall it's definitely pretty good and grew on me as I was drinking it and let it warm a bit the complexity of the flavors definitely came through more.

500 ml bottle into imperial pint glass, bottled on 11/24/2015. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a small dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, honey, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of bready malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, pear, apple, honey, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Touch of diacetyl, but otherwise quite clean and not overly yeasty. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Light carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very good English bitter style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malt, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the ABV, and very well balanced. A very enjoyable offering.

1 pint 0.9 oz green "flask" bottle poured cold into pint glass.

Look: Deep gold to pale amber. Very thin head with no lacing.

Smell: Vanilla, Euro hops, and malt.

Taste: Woodiness and malty sweetness at first with herbal hops on finish. I would consider the bitterness a bit on the high end for this style but not overpowering.

Feel: Medium with refreshing carb on finish.

Overall: An easy-drinking, classic English pale. I think its an excellent representation of the style but not something I would seek out. If I found it on draft somewhere, I would definitely give it another try.

Look is typically all of this style, golden and clear. Smells of, I swear it does, dried apricot and peach. Tastes of honey and hops, with a tingle of carbonation. It is a mouthful. Overall? I am going back for more.
Bonus: the bottle's shape is unique.

Pours a thin head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is honey suckle and light grains.
The taste is a mild play between honey sweet and pine bitterness. Nice.
The texture is crisp.
Really enjoyable.

500 ml green medicine bottle served cold into a. Shaker pint. Purchased for about $3.65 CDN.

Appearance - clear, rich golden color, topped with a finger or so of dense white head. Good clarity and an average amount of effervescent bubbles.

Smell - quite clean, with some metallic notes and a coarse light grain aroma lingering in behind. Perhaps a suggestion of fruit like cherries.

Taste - clean with mild bitterness, plenty of grains and some flowery and fruity flavours lingering in the background. Well put together and quite drinkable.

Mouthfeel- good carbonation, light yet satisfying mouthfeel and drier than average to finish. Good feel for and EPA.

Overall - while not mind blowing, St. Peter's English ale is a good example of the style, easily accessible with just a few surprises like the unexpected fruitiness to keep you interested. A well crafted beer that's worth a shot.
