Style: Wheatwine

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 10.89%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
This beer is another brainchild of the first brewer we ever hired at the Ale Apothecary, Connor Curry. Made of wheat and barley brewed with ponderosa needles in the mash and aged in wine barrels and Oregon Spirit Distillery wheat whiskey barrels this beer is presented barrel-still to keep carbonation from working against some of the more subtle notes of this beer and to allow the decadent mouth-feel free rein.

A: Zero carbonated, copper amber color. Pretty clear, slightly muddled.

A: Lovely raspberry and plum infused acidity. Some apple cinnamon sweet and spicy thing going on too.

T: Exactly the same with touches of earthiness and honey.

F: Smooth and rich, somewhat thick. Obviously no carbonation, some alcohol warmth.

O: Second beer from Ale Apothecary, once again blown away. A very fun and interesting beer that no matter what, I would recommend sharing this with someone you know would appreciate it's uniqueness. Cheers!
