Have gone here a total of about 4 times now. Home is right in the center of Branford, with the town green almost visible from the front windows. Decent bar and cool lounge area out front, nice quiet seating section in the back that has floor to ceiling windows to give a "sunroom" kind of feel to it. Food is really good, the fries are great. Last time I was here I had a turkey burger with this blueberry sauce on it, awesome! A tad bit on the pricier side for food but not excessively.

Beer is about 3 taps and some rotating bottles. I'll ding them for that but they get to keep up the rating since it is a lot of local stuff. Typically at least one or two of the taps is something from the Branford breweries. I think if they added a few taps and got some exclusive stuff this place could become Branford's craft destination outside of the breweries.

Edit (July 2016): They are now up to 6 taps, still mostly craft and local, so I have upped their selection to 3.75

I have been to this place tons of times and have enjoyed every visit. We have gotten to know Jared the owner and he really is committed to craft beers and excellent foods. He has hosted beer dinners and is planning future events featuring Connecticut breweries.
The restaurant opens up with a smaller L shaped bar and some stool and high table combos. There is a small divider wall and then some additional table chair set ups and several lounge chairs with tables. A short hallway leads to many table chair set ups in the back room.
The food is American bistro with a range of sandwiches and wraps plus entrees and appetizers. The decor is relaxed and feels like being in a home with nice artwork, a fireplace and hardwood floors.
The french fry bowl is a must try as the dipping sauces are outstanding and are made fresh in the restaurant. Soups rotate seasonally as do some of the sandwiches and entrees. An example is apple and sweet potato soup in the fall. Ive had excellent seafood choices such as salmon and tuna. Servings are average to large in size and never leave me feeling unsatisfied with my meal.
The beer selection is 3 draft lines and about 25 bottles. The bottles rotate seasonally as well and feature exclusively new england and new york breweries. There are no macro beers to be found in the bar. Jared has some plans to do periodic firkins at the bar in the future.
This is a great addition to the Branford restaurant scene and the support of local and regional breweries is a bonus on top of the excellent food selections and preparation.
Definitely worth a stop or an order for take out if you want to eat at home.

I always look on this website for good beer locations, and it's too bad that I did not know about this place sooner! Great beers, ONLY local! No bud, bud light, etc. Great atmosphere with various seating types. Food was incredible! Really cool place and I'll definitely be back.
3 CT beers on draft, 20-25 bottles beers. CT, New England, Tri-State area only.
