Notes / Commercial Description:
Va-va-voom! Our Temptress is seduction in a glass. Curvy in all the right places, this Imperial Milk Stout pours with a thick, milk chocolate head. Chocolate and caramel malt give it a rich and complex body while the lower carbonation gives the beer a silky mouth feel. She’s voluptuous, with a soft alcohol warmth that grows deeper with every sip. Take your time with her and she’ll reward you.

12oz. bottle poured into a Duvel tulip. Thanks to GHB for the extra.
Appearance: Dark brown with a 1" head that recedes to ring.
Smell: A chocolaty sweetness prevails over some coffee and vanilla.
Taste: Creamy milk chocolate flavors, with both some mocha and vanilla. Very solid milk stout, I get no lactic sourness (which makes me very happy) just a deliciously balanced yet chocolaty beer. The alcohol is barely noticeable.
Mouthfeel: Silky smooth with a creamy finish.
Overall: Very sold milk stout, I could easily have another.

A- Half inch tall light mocha head. on a dark brown body. Collar and webby lacing.
S- Aroma consists of 75% lactose and 25% chocolate.
T- Good roastiness with hints of cocoa. Lactose notes really come through on the backend. Doesn't drink 9.1%abv, would have guessed in the 7 to 8% range.
M- Lovely mouthfeel, thick and creamy. Carbonation is low and smooth.
D/O- I really enjoyed this one. The highlight for me was the creamy mouthfeel...that's how all stouts oughta be.Thanks kojevergas!

Appearance: Dark as night with a half-finger head that dissipates quickly. Nice lacing around the glass.
Smell: Yum! Caramel, vanilla, sweet chocolate. Mouth-watering smell.
Taste: Delicious beer. It's got a great sweetness to it, highlighted by caramel and some chocolate. I can taste just a little bit of the alcohol, but not much. I really love the sweetness to it. It's very desert-like.
Mouthfeel: A fair amount of carbonation, very easy drinking.
Overall: I love it! This is a great milk-stout with a lot of sweetness. Proud of my homeland for producing such a wonderful beer!

From BeerAdvocate Magazine #83 (Dec 2013):
Brewed with lactose sugar and vanilla, this is one robust, rich and flavorful beer with distinct layers that unfold as the beer warms. Sweet and a bit warming, but not cloying or boozy, this is indeed a tempting beer and one to sip with respect.
STYLE: Imperial Milk Stout
ABV: 9.1%
AVAILABILITY: Year-round
LOOK: Opaque, black, creamy coffee-colored head
SMELL: Mocha, roasty, molasses, marshmallows
TASTE: Viscous, chewy, slick, sugary, char, raisins, leafy hop bitterness, molasses, caramel, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, graham cracker, sweet finish

Another extra from BullDoza...stoked to try this one as I love a good milkstout
Bottled on date states 6.18.14. Poured into a Woodshop 7th Anniversary tasting glass. Upon opening the bottle there is very little carbonation. A vigorous pour confirms slight but not a ton of carbonation. Appearance is black. Not viscous though. Smells of chocolate and coffee...not a lot of lactose though. Taste is smooth. Slightly sweet. The lactose makes itself known but is more sugary than sweet. Milk chocolate notes. It's almost like a toned down (but imperial version of Left Hand Nitro). Mouthfeel is decent.
Overall, it's a good beer, but it's certainly not the best milk stout I've had. I still rank Beachwood's Udder Love and Left Hand's Nitro the two best that I've had. Still, a decent beer. Cheers!

This is one of the creamiest milk stouts I've ever had. It was very good, almost tasted like whoppers, or a malted milk shake.

On nitro tap at the Common Table.
The beer pours a dark brown color with a nitro-induced tan head. The aroma is full of chocolate and coffee notes, as expected. The flavor features a lot of chocolate and some light smoke, as well as a ton of roasted malt notes. Slick mouthfeel and low carbonation.

Lovely sampling from a local brewery. I strongly prefer stouts, and this is by far one of my favourites.
