Va-va-voom! Our Temptress is seduction in a glass. Curvy in all the right places, this Imperial Milk Stout pours with a thick, milk chocolate head. Chocolate and caramel malt give it a rich and complex body while the lower carbonation gives the beer a silky mouth feel. She’s voluptuous, with a soft alcohol warmth that grows deeper with every sip. Take your time with her and she’ll reward you.

12oz bottle served in a little snulip. I can't be sure, but I think the bottled on date is 10/05/22. Got it in a trade with @MrSandman101.

Pours black with a small light brown head. Smell is molasses, black licorice, strong medium roast coffee. Lots of anise, maybe a hint of smoke or char. Maybe burnt chocolate?

Taste is toasted marshmallows and semi-sweet chocolate, tasty but feels totally disconnected from the aroma. Vanilla, coffee bitterness, maybe because of the marshmallow note I feel like there's some graham cracker in there.

Mouthfeel is thick but not sticky. Overall, interesting, tasty, and fascinating olfactory illusion.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a snifter.

L - Dark, dense, brown beer that no light gets through. Thick, creamy, tan head that remains as a solid cap throughout the drinking experience.

S - Delicious sweet stout aromas of dark, roasted grains, milk chocolate, Ovaltine/chocolate milk.

T - Flavors emphasize chocolate and milk sweetness, but with a hint of smokiness from the malt and low herbal hops.

F - Medium to heavy body with some silkiness and mouth-coating sweetness after the swallow. Low carbonation that goes well with the silky mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness from hops and acrid roasted grain. Some alcohol presence, but surprisingly little for the ABV.

O - A very nice beer with the unusual twist of being an imperial stout but with a sweet stout base. The lactose sweetness and chocolate are unusual in a stout of this strength, but it's perfectly balanced by the hops and grain bitterness and alcohol warmth.

Poured in a glass with little to no head. Probably a technically good beer but just didn't like the flavor personally. Notes of bitter chocolate and coffee.

Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. The aroma struck me as having both milk chocolate and notes of caramel/toffee and hints of dry coffee. Silky smooth, medium body, chocolate sweetness with hint of caramel/toffee sweetness (interchangeable to me) along with a touch of cherries for some reason. There is a hint of boozy heat on the finish but other than that it is not noticeable. Beer could be described as a sweet coffee stout but don't really get much in terms of coffee and more of the sweet flavors.
