Notes / Commercial Description:
Va-va-voom! Our Temptress is seduction in a glass. Curvy in all the right places, this Imperial Milk Stout pours with a thick, milk chocolate head. Chocolate and caramel malt give it a rich and complex body while the lower carbonation gives the beer a silky mouth feel. She’s voluptuous, with a soft alcohol warmth that grows deeper with every sip. Take your time with her and she’ll reward you.

I've had the Lakewood Temptress many times, as well as last night. A lot of restaurants, bars, and movie theatres carry it here in Dallas, and it is easy to find it in stores. I think it is one of the best craft beers (or at least best milk stouts) from the Dallas area.

Look: black with an inch thick mocca colored head.

Aroma: nice aroma of chocolate and vanilla

Taste: the taste is roasted malts, milk chocolate, vanilla, maybe a little bit of coffee, its a bit sweet, and there's a hint of the alcohol.

Feel: full body with silky and creamy texture

Had on draft from a pub in Arlington Texas. The first glance wasn't super appealing. The color was more opacque than I like in a stout with no head, but the aroma was fantastic and the flavor was even better. Very malty and strongly flavored with coffee and roasted malt with some sweetness and hop to balance things out. A superb beer.

Poured from a 12oz bottle with a bottled on date of 12/16; into a snifter.
Appearance- very black with only enough light coming in against the sun to reveal some streams of carbonation along the edge of the glass and just a trace of crimson at the bottom of the glass. Thin to medium mocha head that slowly vanishes as it sits. Lacing is
Smell - sweet and boozy aroma with a blend of vanilla, milk chocolate, booze and oak!
Taste - flavors reflect the features of the nose, but an additional flavor or two can be detected, though I can't quite put my finger on them; black licorice and or coffee perhaps!
Feel - full body; sweet, robust, boozy and complex!
Overall - very tasty and well put together stout; most milk stouts are too sweet for my liking, but the high ABV gives this a warmth and sting that makes the sweetness more of a compliment as opposed to the main feature!

Very dark brown with a fingers worth of tan colored head that leaves a ring around the top. Aroma of chocolate, malt, and dark coffee. Taste is of milk chocolate, light roasted dark coffee, and vanilla. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Overall a very nice milk stout, with more body and coffee than most.
