Notes / Commercial Description:
Va-va-voom! Our Temptress is seduction in a glass. Curvy in all the right places, this Imperial Milk Stout pours with a thick, milk chocolate head. Chocolate and caramel malt give it a rich and complex body while the lower carbonation gives the beer a silky mouth feel. She’s voluptuous, with a soft alcohol warmth that grows deeper with every sip. Take your time with her and she’ll reward you.

a pretty radical beer here. loaded with lactose and vanilla beans, but also pretty drinkable for its strength and depth. deep and dark and shiny on the pour, basically no head after a few seconds. it smells less sweet than it ends up tasting, and is fully loaded with fresh vanilla flavor, especially as it warms up to room temperature. hands down the best beer i have had from these guys. you would never think an imperial milk stout with vanilla could be described as dry, but this one somehow fits that theme, and it has layers to boot. vanilla late for sure, but before that is unbrewed coffee grounds, roasted barley, and crystal malt sugars. all very pleasant and not abrasive. an easy drinking brew for its alcohol strength, which is scarcely detectable here. tons of body though, and a lot of vanilla left over. really well made stuff, but i have to admit, i am a whole lot more excited to try the coffee version. it already has some of those elements in virgin form, and i can only imagine how good it will be with the coffee. a cool beer, unlike others, and one i would strongly recommend to the milk stout fans out there... easily the best i have had from lakewood.

I enjoyed this one a lot. Tons of malty goodness on both the nose and taste. It pours het black with a nice thick body and big tan head. More complex flavors with notes of chocolate and dark fruit come out as it warms. Overall this is a very nice example of how a stout should taste.

Part of the BIF2 Box from @Bulldoza

Pours a beautiful black with a solid creamy brown head that settles in to a thin but unbroken cap. Soft and velvety. Beautiful lacing.

Nose starts off with roasty chocolate and a touch of dark fruit, molasses and alcohol. Creamy.

Oh man. So creamy smoothe. Fierce but fine carbonation at the very end, but before we get there we journey through rich smoothe dark chocolate and acrid coffee. Sugary vanilla touches the peaks at the very end before a long roasty finish of fine mocha.

Much love to Nick for sending this one along. It's one I'd had on my radar and I'm really excited to have gotten to try it. Even better: next up is the Mole version!!

A creamy smooth beer with a unique milky taste that has light hints of dark bakers chocolates and dark roasted barley malts that just melt in your mouth. To hell with the deep darkness in the color of this beer or the rich light brown head that quickly went south, the creamy smooth and welcoming taste steal the show.
