Our Weissbier (pronounced “Vice-Beer”) is a German-style wheat ale with strong banana and clove notes. Brewed with the finest imported German ingredients, it is as estery as it is fragrant. Prost!

this is wonderful, and distinct from the old one they used to call weissbier. about as authentic as they come, especially in the states, so much pale wheat character on this, a brilliant and distinctive fermentation profile, and all the fluffy creamy airy expansive mouthfeel i love in the style without it being in the least bit heavy, i could drink gallons of this, want to, really impressive specimen, perhaps the best of all the beers we had on our recent visit, these guys are rolling! ever so slightly darker than pale blonde, but still pretty light looking in the glass, uniform frosted look to it, tall white headed in its proper glassware, something about this beer and the right glass! the aroma is awesome, yeast forward but still earthy from the grain, green banana, green grape, clove, white pepper, faint tangerine, banana cream pie, an almost dairy richness to it, estery but nowhere near phenolic, mellow but distinctive. the flavor is great too, the ferment is killer in this and the texture works real well, effervescent and soft, crushable but also hearty, love it! the familiar hefeweizen yeast complex is here, but it also has an herbal layer, coriander even lemongrass to me, slightly vinous with faint astringency too which helps it finish fast, its dry later on but a pinch sweet in the center, fruity without being obnoxious, and leaving the wheat in a central position too. proper balance, expert proportions really, and the overall quality of this is off the charts. maybe my favorite of their regular offerings! really an exceptional example of the style, and better now than its ever been before!
edit: and like all prost beers right now, this one just keeps getting better, their new facility is going to make this one of the very best in the game, and i mean the global game, absolute fire! highly authentic.

Hazy straw yellow color with a decent foamy white head that subsides to just a frothy ring but does produce plenty of nice lacing.
The aroma is banana, citrus, wheat and cloves, very nice.
The taste is likewise with sweet wheat malt, banana and orange leading. The finish is dry and crisp with some lingering spice, mainly cloves.
The body is light/medium, moderate carbonation, nicely smooth, very drinkable.
Altogether, this is an excellent Hefeweizen, refreshing, tasty, one of the best American efforts, enjoy.

Had on tap at the brewery in Denver.
On arrival 2 fingers of fine head were present that over a couple minutes dissipates to a softly rocky 1cm covering of foam that leaves thick lacing rings. Body is a hazy dark straw.
Smellis sweet and wheaty with some light spicy banana bread notes coming through. Solid hefe with a slightly higher malt to yeast flavor ratio than most, but still nice smelling.
Taste is sweetly malty with some nice esters before a wave of dryness comes through and the yeast gets a bit spicy. The finish is some nice bready base malts.
The feel is full but drinkable with a mouthcoating maltiness before a dryness overtakes everything. Finish is long amd malty.
Overall this is a nice hefe. Not quite the liquid banana bread a lot of Munich hefes are but thus is a nice cross of American and German wheat beers with it being a bit more malt forward. No weird hops however.

Had on tap. Cloudy yellow body with two fingers of white foam and thick webs of lacing, beautiful. Aromas of orange and lemon peel with wheat, general esters, big banana, flowers, and buttery malt with a kiss of clove. Taste is simpler with how wheat, banana, and citrus take over, but everything still there in the background. Feel is wheat driven, medium-light bodied, quenching with smooth delivery, but lacks signature textures to put among the greats. Impressed by this one though, one of the better hefeweizen I have had in a while

Perhaps the best domestic Hefeweizen I've ever tasted. Competes easily with Weihenstephener, Erdinger, Paulaner, etc... True to style in every way and eminently drinkable on a warm day.
