This is a northern German staple and our flagship beer. This is a crisp, pale and dry interpretation of the style. Well hopped with noble German varieties and a special strain of yeast from a German monastery. Prost Pils is pale gold in color and capped with a thick, brilliantly white, dense collar of foam. With the first sip spicy hop flavors come to the forefront. As the hop begins to fade, the wonderfully soft imported pilsner malt is revealed. The finish, with its herbal, pleasantly lingering hop note balanced by a rich malt counterpoint, demands another taste. (ABV 4.6% 37 IBU'S)

One of my favorite pilsners I've had. Huge hit of noble hops which I love but the delicate malt character gets a little lost - which is a big part of a pils so If they could tick down the bitterness while maintaining flavor and aroma of the hops to bump up the malt presence it would be too notch.

12oz canned on Feb 2nd 2023
On a rough pour for fingers of head with major domage formed. Body is a golden straw with a light haze. Head settles down at 1cm and delicate bubbly lacing forms.
Aroma is immediately hoppy, but in a spicy, floral, no le hop way. Slight sulfur on the nose brings this squarely into pilsner vibes. Not all that malty on the nose.
Taste brings more balance than the aroma suggests, the floral slightly spicy hop flavor is present in the front, but quickly gives way to a crackery, white bread malty character that is quite soft and pleasant.
Feel is excellently crisp and drinkable. Not watery, but immediately quite dry and I perceive a lightness. Despite the dryness, the finish is long, and the dryness actually builds, despite a malty mouth covering feeling going on at the same time.
Overall this is probably my favorite beer from prost that I've had. Traditional pilsner flavor, but uniquely hopped, without pushing this beer into American hoppy lager territory.

Clear straw color with perhaps just a slight chill haze. Very bubbly, with a voluminous white head, soapy on the sides but denser and pillowy in the middle. Great retention.
Aroma of vibrant lemon, straw, grass, and light crackery sweetness.
Gently sweet, honeyed, cracker upfront, lovely pilsner malt, followed by a big pop of vibrant lemon zest, grass, and green pepper. Notable bitterness, crisp and dry finish with a lingering grass/green pepper bitterness.
Medium-light bodied, well carbonated, slightly slick with hop oils.
Really pleasant, American take on a north German pils. Very good.

L- Big 3F Off White foam head with medium gold 90% transparent color.
N-Blend of malt yeast and hops, rather mild yet the hops lead the nose. Maybe an onion or some sulfur (less of this note on subsequent tasting). Yes more earth, wood, and some floral notes over subsequent tastings.
T-Hop forward presentation, with a spicy green hop bitterness that is more aggressive than some other Pilsners. The malt is there in body and smoothness, but in a subservient role as far as taste characteristics. More hop tang with a bit of wood barrel.
M-Medium bodied, not slick or dry. Above average carbonation as Pilsners can be, with a bit of acid like sensation.
O-A nice beer with a dominating hop character. A bit mouth puckering when you combine that with the laid back malt profile and the acidic note from the carbonation. I wish the hops were dialed back just a bit.
