Good, not great dunkel. Orange slice might help.

Look: Deep reddish brown. 2 finger head. Fairly hazy. Light does come through. Head recedes to 1/4" "puffy" foam, but never goes away totally.
Smell: Very little aroma. Barely pick up hints of caramel and German yeast.
Taste: Slight bitterness and faint hops. Tastes a bit metallic. Malty and biscuit-like, but just more caramel. Not as strong or rich as others I've had. Expecting rich caramel and more German yeast.
Feel: A bit thinner than hoped a bit more carbonation would have been great.
Overall: Not very impressed. Ok Dunkel, but have had many better. Seemed somewhat flat and watered down. Probably would not purchase this one again. Ok as a single.

Pours mahogany with 1 finger of large whit-bubbled head. Banana and clove spice on the nose. This has a medium-thin body with plenty of sweetness. Almost a grape or raisin flavor comes through. This is a smooth drinking beer with a pretty decent amount of hops for balance.

Pours a really dark brown with almost no red tone to it, and looks like there's some cloud to it due to this but held to the light it's clarified. Not much head to speak of, and I'm having this in a tallish sort of goblet that I like for lagers, saisons, and Belgian IPA's. Not the "prettiest" beer I've ever beheld, but the aroma is nice, bready and malty, and the flavor follows suit with a nice tang to it. Very sweet and a little chocolaty, with very, very light alcohol. Super drinkable, nice and clean, good carbonation. I would definitely drink this again, but don't think I'd buy another sixer - probably opt for some Leffe Brun or an Oktoberfest with a little more abv. Still, I think they did really well with this one, and I'll surely have to try one on draught next time I'm at Prost.

My first from Prost and had on tap as one of the guest brews in a flight of three at the Wynkoop brewpub.
Looks like a Dunkel. Smells mostly malty. Tastes that way too, balanced by 25 IBU. With low bubbles and soft in the mouth, this was what I like in dunkelweizen. It was a warm day, so I might not drink a full glass; but I'd drink this again if I every return to Denver... which I hope I do.
