Thick fluffy head of micro and big bubbles with awesome lacing. Color is shiny orange amber. Aroma is pineapple, mango, lemon peel, lime peel, grapefruit peel, spicy/musty pine needles. Palate is tart pineapple, lemon, musty hop bitterness, pine needles, mint, oregano, perfumed floral boozy finish; medium plus flavor intensity; crisp slightly sticky light body; medium effervescence. Pros looks nice, complex, intense, nice balance: acidity, booziness, crispness. Cons sticky, pretty intense perfume, unique flavor and long hoppy sweet finish means not super sessionable. 89/100.

Two-finger head that recedes in a lumpy fashion. Multiple horizontal streaks initially. The beer is copper colored with a mild haze.

Floral hop shows up first to the nose but there's a notable caramel sweetness. In the background, I get some pineapple. A touch of metal as well.

The thinner body makes this a refreshing beer. Moderate carbonation. That said, there's plenty of flavor. The malt reflects the carmelized grain but it isn't sweet. The bitterness eases in culminating in the swallow. It provides for a long aftertaste but is not too biting.

Best by April 9th.

It pours a clear 24k gold with over a finger of foam.

Big notes of grapefruit citrus in the smell. Slightly grassy with some toasted malt.

The taste continues with the grapefruit citrus dominance. The malt is toasted but it's a minor player. Pretty bitter for an APA. It almost has a dry hopped character.

Good mouthfeel, good drinkability.

A very assertive hoppy American Pale Ale indeed and I am happy with it.

12oz can, best before 10/09/2020. Sample from the brewery.

Golden with a hint of haze, a fluffy head, and lacing. Tropical with biscuity in the nose. Soft, light-bodied, and smooth with low carbonation. Fruity with apple, pineapple, and some melon rind. Hints of pine, some oiliness, and a bitter astringency that builds with each sip. Doughy, dry malt profile with some tastiness and light caramel. Earthy and biscuity finish.

Stick's is a bit rough around the edges, but it's a good Pale Ale.

12 fl oz pull-tab can served cold into a Sam Adams perfect pint glass:

BB 06/25/20.

5.5% ABV. No hop varietals are mentioned on the label, but their website notes that it's brewed with Mosaic hops, is gluten reduced, and is 36 IBUs. It also mentions the following awards:

* Gold at 2016 Great American Beer Festival for American Pale
* Gold at 2018 L.A. International Beer Competition
* Gold at 2017 CO State Fair
* Gold at 2016 U.S. Open Beer Competition
* Silver at 2019 USA Beer Ratings
* Gold at 2014 Denver Int’l Beer Competition
* Silver at 2018 CO State Fair
* Silver at 2017 U.S. Open Beer Competition
* Silver at 2017 & 2018 North American Beer Awards
* Silver at 2015 Denver Int’l Beer Competition
* Bronze at 2016 Los Angeles Int’l Beer Competition
* Best of the Rockies/SW at 2014 USBTC

Doesn't dig deep into Mosaic's potential, hitting powdery tropical fruit but not its signature subtle blueberry flavour. Nevertheless, it's a balanced and enjoyable pale ale that drinks easy and is very pleasant and mellow.

Nothing too fancy here, just a very solid APA. Not too hoppy or too malty, not bitter, just a very good mild flavor and smell. It won't jump off the page at you, but you can easily have a few of these. Would also try other beers from this brewery if I come across them.

12oz can. 8/28/17 best by date. Appearance: Deep golden with a touch of orange. Clear with a moderate off white foam head and decent lacing. Aroma: abreast, caramel maltiness, with a light grassy, pine resin hoppiness. Comes across more malty than hoppy. Taste: Pretty one dimensional light maltiness with a lightly toasted caramel flavor. A perceptible diacetyl leads to a sharp resinous bitterness Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a low to moderate carbonation. Finish: Bitterness dominates the finish, with a touch of retronasal toasty maltiness. Overall: Fairly nondescript pale ale, with a strong malt profile and caramel that is reminiscent of a British pale ale. Definitely has the American hop regimen and bitterness, but the aroma is barely perceptible against the malt. Overall profile is fairly one dimensional with an almost astringent bitterness. Touch of unwelcome diacetyl as well
