Run-of-the-mill amber, thanks Mark. Some hop flavour. Meets the style and serviceable. Light rye contribution. Light amber colour with a touch of lace.

Fat Bottom "Ruby Red American Ale"
$6 on tap at Acme Feed & Seed - 5 April 2015
$ ? on tap at The Hop Stop - 8 April 2015
Appearance: Deep amber body beneath a short but creamy off-white head. Good head retention and lacing.
Aroma: Caramelish malt backed by some leafy/grassy hops.
Flavor: As the aroma suggests with some delicate middling caramel sweetness upfront, a healthy smear of leafy, grassy and subtly piney hops across the middle and into the finish. It leans just slightly towards malt sweetness at first but a firm bitterness then leads it to a dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium to medium-light in body with a median, gently bristling carbonation.
Overall: Clean. Well-made. Basic American amber ale with a little bit of an extra kick.

Poured from a 16 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a semi clear ruby colored beer with a small white head. The aroma is light hops and malt. The taste is similar to the nose.

Had this beer apart of a sampler flight at the brewery.
A: Amber/Red in color. Pours a medium to heavy white/creamy head.
S: Sweet caramel with some earthiness to it.
T: Some caramel, slight citrus flavor. Malty but not overpowering.
M: Medium mouthfeel. Chrisp, average carbonation.
Good flavor but nothing separating it from your normal Red Ale, however, it was still an enjoyable beer.
