Just an amazing selection of beers in this unassuming little storefront shop in the O'Connors Hardware Plaza. I was collecting beers to make a charity auction basket and was having a hard time finding some on my list. I should have gone to Georgio's first because they had EVERYTHING. And, even better, just about every beer is available as a single. I'm guessing the hardcore beer geeks haven't discovered this place yet, because I was able to pick up a few hard to find beers (Nugget Nectar, Breakfast Stout) long after everyone else was sold out of them.

Georgio's has an outstanding selection of beer. The most welcome part of the store for me is the mix your own six-pack feature. There are easily 400+ beers to choose from, with a large selection of New England brews dominating 1 shelf of an isle, another isle with a shelf of beers from around the country and 2/3 of a third isle dedicated to imports. In addition, there is a seasonal area with another 30+ beers that are new to the store for the season. The other shelves in those isles contain an outstanding selection of bombers and 6 packs. Georgio's is the main reason I have increased from 60 to 460 beers rated/reviewed within the calendar year.

Today was my first trip into Georgio's Liquors. I checked it out because I'm looking for a really good micro-brew selection. I found it here. Big selection of quality micro-brews. And they let you make your own 6-packs! I've only seen this at one other store and that wasn't in our area, so I'm extremely happy about this.

The store was well-organized, as you'd expect with a brand-new establishment. Shelves were well-stocked, and per one of the owners, they have more coming. He said that they are big into craft beers, so I'd imagine that they'll be looking to stock plenty of high-quality product.

Pricing seemed in line with what I've seen at other stores with a selection like this. Single bottles seemed to be about $2 each, give or take depending on the beer.

I'd recommend checking them out. Hopefully the store is successful so that I can go there for a long time!
