Willy's Ale Room

 

 

Willy's has been a popular spot for locals as far back as I can remember. It has your typical sports bar/biker bar atmosphere, but they cater to all crowds. Food is good, wings are the best thing on the menu. Staff is ok, sometimes a little spacey, but nothing bad. It is not real expensive to eat or drink there, pricing is reasonable. On to the beer....everytime I go to Willy's it seems that the amount of beer on draft and bottled depends on the season, and what event might be going on that night. So you never know what kind of beer to expect, which is great because they have an awesome selection of craft, micros, imports, and domestics all the time on both tap and bottle. Of course they have the usuals like Bud, Miller, PBR and so on, but they really do have a great selection of craft beers. I often go out of my way to meet friends here, but if you are not from around this area it is really out of the way, but certainly make this a stop if you make it to the Acton/Sanford area of Maine.
