On tap at The Blue Ox Bistro...
Appears a pale gold with with small white cap that slowly fades into a mild head of foam. Scattered bits of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of floral, spicy hops, grassy, and mild grain with caramel.
Taste is of the mentioned aromas with more of a tea like, grainy flavor with a beautiful hoppy zest that comes through as a noble, delicious flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, carbonated on the higher side, spiced with hops.

From BeerAdvocate Magazine Volume II, Issue V:

Finally, the traditional 500mL bottle has arrived. This is the same bottle size that a German would get, yet it comes in a reusable plastic carrier that holds 20 bottles. Now if we could only convince the US consumer this is more practical.

The lacing from a hard pour leaves a lively crest on the glass--right-to-style clarity shows its bright golden yellow color. Fragrant hop aroma of earthy, minty wild herbs and fresh cut grass, clean through and through. Crispness rides on top with a big refreshing character, smoothness rolls over the palate and cleans house with a fluffy moderately-sized body. Bitterness is drawn out and does not simply hit the taste buds with one whack. Within that it throws a smattering of lemon, herbal, faint mint and spicy flavor. The dry malt backbone sustains and holds this beer together very well. Crusty baguettes come to mind as it wraps up.

Looking for a straight up, everyday Pils? Here it is.

I didn't mind this beer at all. A very crisp and refreshing pils with a fairly unique, spicy and interesting hop character ... and a slighly sweet, bready/grain rounding malt sweetness and medium body. Loved the pillowy creamy white head and its retention too. Aroma was typical though -- light sulfur, grain with delicate herbal hops on the side.

Easy drinking ... with some character.

Clear gold colour, with a big puffy head that expands quickly and shrinks down just as quick.

Slightly sweet malt nose with a twinge of can and some low-level hop and citrus presence.

Taste somewhat...industrialized...perhaps over-processed is a better word. Almost a burnt, metallic quality. Underneath this lies a citrus-bread mix of hops and malt. This part is nice if I can just get past the overdone quality.

A bit heavy handed on the carbonation and, combined with the hops, this numbs the tongue a bit. Not bad, but I can find better examples of a German pils.

This is a good, if not world shattering, German pilsner. Pours a beautiful yellow with a large fluffy head. The aroma is sprightly and lemony with a little sweetness. The flavor is smooth and surprisingly complex, though distinctively pilsner, with a slight hop bitterness and a little lemony character. The mouthfeel is light and has a nice carbonation bite. Delicious and refreshing.

True to style German Pilsner. Straw coloured with good head. Clean malt taste with properly bitter finish.

What a remarkable pils. Nothing tastes better than a hard day a work and coming home to a golden CRISP taste of Radeberger. I believe it comes from this region of Germany where the pils taste like heaven. The best beer from Saxony and the best German pils hands down.

Maybe it was a bad batch, but here goes review. On tap from rattle and Hum NY. pours a clear light golden yellow. no head, no carbonation, no lacing. No discernable smell to note except a little bitterness .

Not my taste. very hard to be fair. I was told that this is typical of German Pilsners. Almost tasted stale and skunky to me. Might me my noobish taste buds. Please go to other reviews for the time being.

L: looks like beer
S: grassy, but not so much due to brown bottles
T: perfect
F: lightest most refreshing brau I've laid hands on
O: a must for fans of German Pilse. Hard to get a hold of; I fear others are after this like me...

I think I might like this better than bitburger. Clear yellow, but with a big white head. Can smell and taste the hops quite well. Reminds me of why I love this style.

Had this beer on tap at Sweeney's in Garden Ciy, NY. Served in the offical Radeberger tall pilsner mug.

Poured a nice straw color, well carbonated with a frothy two finger head. Good retention and lacing.

The smell was crisp with nice hop notes.

The flavorwas crisp and a tad spicy, which took me by suprise. It had a nice crisp hopped finish. The beer was served at around 40 degrees, which was ideal.

The mouthfeel was clean. Not a full mouthfeel, but by no means thin.

Very drinkable on tap.

This is a very good pilsner. Nice bright yellow with a small head. Aroma of grass and hay fields with a touch of dry biscuits. Flavor is again dry and grassy with a great bitterness. This is a great clean drinking pilsner. A good pilsner needs to clean your palate everytime and make you crave that bittnerness. This one does just that. This is a beer that needs to be in your fridge year-round.

Around medium carbonation with a medium light body .
Aroma was bread, cracker, grain/cereal with a bit of floral hops
Taste didn't stray too far from the aroma, bread, malt a d a bit of hops and yeast
They all can't be world class but had this out with a meal and it was a decent match with some food

Very pleased with this beers flavor and its ease of drinking. It has a nice toasted edge of sweet malt and a light bitter bite. Good for a session beer too.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed a few hours earlier.

A- Pours a clear, straw color with a white two finger head.

S- Spicy hop and yeasty notes with grain.

T- Pretty bland grain upfront with a spicy and bitter hop finish.

M- Pretty thin bodied and watery with pretty high carbonation.

D- Pretty easy drinking but the taste detracts from this for me. Not one I would I go back to.
