Angels trumpet ale Hse phx

Brick box shaped room with a large outside deck for better weather enjoying, it was a 113 degree day when I visited, so inside it was!

30 quality taps, I enjoyed a yummy saison from beach wood brewery, beers are listed on a big blackboard behind the bar, beer apparently change often and come from all the good places from around the area and the rest of the country.

Friendly staff and ample parking.

Full menu loaded with bbq and Tex mex leaning offerings…I enjoyed the avocado salad and chicken tacos. Very tasty!

Great place that’s well worth checking out.

Pretty standard beer bar with around 30 taps. Nice selection of AZ breweries but there are a lot of california ipas on the list too. Service is not fast, they did mess up one of our orders but fixed it right away no charge. Got some buzzy energy late night downtown. A nice taproom option for your phoenix visit

Chill spot a bit off the beaten path with a great beer list. Low key with good food, and a patio for when it's not too hot. If you're coming from San Diego or California generally, the list is quite California heavy so don't come here expecting to try a lot of new things.

This was probably Phoenix-area's first really special beer bar- there are a lot more today. The food here is still some of the best, even if I feel their tap selection--usually heavily focused on locals--always seems to miss some of the region's best. Great patio which somehow manages to remain somewhat tolerable even in insane summer phx heat. Not far away is AZ Wilderness DTPHX location, which has a very similar vibe/patio, generally fantastic beer selection (best brewer in phx area), and even better food than the still great Angel's Trumpet. Hence I don't get to the Trumpet as much as I used to. But if you're making a tour of the downtown phx beer bars, it's definitely worth a stop.

Small spot just north of downtown, adjacent to an open space on the corner. Inside feels cavernous though. A dimly lit interior features a blackboard opposite the main entrance listing tap selection. Lights focused on the blackboard make it evident this is the focus here. Inside is a large selection of tables and a lengthy bar. Outside on the patio is another half dozen tables for 4, and a lenghty row of adirondack chairs to watch people play corn hole. A light mesh hangs over the tabled seating to help add some shade, and with the addition of a mister, keeps the back patio pretty cool. Another blackboard is back here for tap selection, but doesn't included brewery info or ABV. Beers focus on local and California IPAs (May visit). The service was helpful overall, but not super beer savvy. At least, as far as our waitress went. Food was fantastic and overshadowed the beer a bit. Well worth a stop for the food alone. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy dinner and a brew or few.

This place is awesome. Beer list is turning over as I sit here, and it is a wide variety of West coast beer, and some east coast beers, bartender was a nice guy, and prices are reasonable - cool vibe. Food is decent and sufficient variety of meat, veggie, and fish options

Angels Trumpet Ale House is located downtown Phoenix so at times is gets very busy, like first Friday or if there is a home baseball game. They have 31 beers on tap that they continually rotate, it's a great place to try new beers but not to get the same. They also have 6 wines on tap. Food here is amazing, but very limited on options for people who are not meat likers. You never know what crowd you're going to walk into depending on what is going on downtown. There is inside and outside seating with misters to help beat the heat. Also dog friendly outside.

Loved this place and would recommend to anyone visiting Phoenix and looking for good craft beer. Located near several hotels in downtown Phoenix, 15 minutes walking distance from the Arena and Chase Field. ~40 brews on tap, good selection covering AZ locals, western USA, and national. Service is fine and there are plenty of seats, but this place fills up fast and is obviously very popular. Food is also decent, finger foods/sandwiches/burgers/etc.

One of my favorites. Constantly rotating taps, and great food. It seems to get quite loud, even when it's not packed full of people. (I notice it more in the summer months when the patio doors are closed). I imagine that it's partially due to the industrial architecture. It's definitely worth a visit!!!

This is one of my watering holes; its arrival was warmly welcomed. The beer selection is second to none, and the almost 30 taps are constantly rotating fantastic varieties. For most, the food menu is outstanding - thick, heavy, hearty and creative. For the vegetarian who also loves beer, the options are severely limited, but sufficient. Although the servers act as though they'd rather be literally anywhere else (in stark contrast to those of the entire neighborhood, BTW), the beer selection will keep you coming back. I wager that even the beardiest beer buff, no matter what your flavor, will enjoy themselves here.

Boasts 31 micros on tap and they did. Broad selection from the Midwest to the west. Casual atmosphere, good for conversation over a pint or two. Lay out was great. Service was quick and friendly. Great selection of food.

Stopped by when I was in town for Spring Training, easily accessible from the light rail. What a great find. Excellent beer selection (31 on tap), nice atmosphere, friendly service and great food. Interior was modern industrial and they have a nice outdoor patio. Pretty busy when we arrived but the service did not suffer. We both got two beers and food, and everything was great. I would definitely stop by here again the next time I'm in Phoenix.

This is the best place for beer nerds in all of Phoenix that I have found. Coming from Tucson this place is my replacement for 1702.

Vibe: I was a bit nervous about this establishment based off of its somewhat tacky name and lackluster website, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. There is plenty of indoor seating and covered outdoor patio in the back. There also were a few games available to play (bean bag toss) that I could see, though nobody was playing since it was a bit chilly.

Service: They were very busy when I went. The waiter did not give much attention to our group, but service was plenty quick. I'm not too picky though, especially given how busy it was.

Selection/Quality: There were over 30 beers/ciders on tap. There also were ~10 wines on tap, yes you read that right, wines on tap. Everything was fresh. When they run out of one keg, something new goes up on the tap. I do wish however that they would embrace Tucson's 1702 practice of posting their beer list weekly. If something rare comes on tap I'd like to know and make my visit.

Food: Standard pub fair, sliders and fries were ok. But let's be honest, are we really going here for the food?

Stopped in last night finally after hearing great things. Parking in the area is lacking as us Phoenicians are mostly spoiled historically for after business hours parking.

Vibe was OK. Old converted business space. Nothing on the walls in the rectangular space. Just 31 taps of solid liquids.

Quality of beer was very good. There was anything from Belgian Quads to Session IPAs. Did not see anything weak IMO.

Service was very good. Server was attentive and checked back in frequently. Of course it was a bit slow for a good portion of the time.

Selection was great. 31 taps available of solid craft beer.

Food was good. The flatbread pizza flavor was very good although it was a bit hastily made. The Sausage starter was interesting with Alligator being offered as the Wild Game. Dipping sauces that accompanied were also good.

Overall an excellent place to go to assuming you can find parking.
