Bottle poured into a BarrelHouse Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Citrus, mix of juice and zest, floral, a bit grassy, faint stone fruit, a touch of wheat, biscuity malt, and honey sweetness.
T: Bright, citrus, tangerine, lemon, and a hint of lime, a little grassy, floral, light touch of tropical and stone fruit, peach, and apricot, passion fruit, and guava, slight wheat twang, biscuity malt, and honey sweetness.
M: On the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation,
O: I'm usually not one for blonde ales, but this one is a people pleaser. Easy drinking for fans of the lighter stuff, but with enough flavor to satisfy this hop head. Great sunny day beer.

May 21st, 2016 - I'm finishing up my loitering at the Barrel House Brewing Co. with the Sunny Daze. An enormous avalanche of tropical fruit notes comes out of the glass, in spite of the sample sized volume. Kiwi, mandarin, and the fecundity of a zoo lined with palm trees and exotic creatures. The flavor is milder, but still plenty fruity, with a gentle palate like a blond ale, with a soft foaminess.

Pours an almost 100% hazy color...about 10% transparency. 1 finger of head that fades to a thin creamy ring.
Lots of yummy lemon, actually sort of like lemonade. lots of cracker, maybe a touch of cilantro.
Flavor is explosive and great. Lots of baked flavors. Delicious lemon baked crusts, a shot of honey, then ginger, and then blonde malts. Edit : as it warms a touch, I get some odd cotton ball flavors.
Feel is creamy and rich, yet still nicely carbonated.
Overall, a smooth, easy drinking beer with tons of lemony goodness and some good crust flavors.

First on draught at the source - 08/07/15
Have had this from bottle as well
A decent blonde ale with some nice natural citrus notes - makes for a solid summer quencher
Blonde malts - lightly nutty with some decent bready cracker. Complimented by a nice orange and lemony zest. Low perceived actual bitterness and fairly clean overall.
Didn't necessarily wow me but a nice easy drinking Ale it is.
