Stopped by to have a few beers while in Tin City. We were actually one of the first to come in for the day so got amazing service. Recommend the sampler, able to select the beers you want and they have some really good selections! Will be back soon

Neat brewery nestled in an industrial park with a somewhat cramped interior, but a sprawling gravel "patio" out back. The rustic, backyard lifestyle is palpable at this place. Possibly the coolest patio of any brewery I've ever been to: waterfall feature, rusty beater truck, cornhole and other games, small wooden concert stage, adirondack chairs and picnic tables everywhere, and walk-up counter to order the good stuff.

Service was fast and the bartenders were funny, however it was packed when we were here so we didn't stand around and chat. Beer options aren't great (not too many styles); the IPAs were all very solid, but a brett variant we had was only okay.

Really laid-back place, glad we stopped in!

Love this place. Great outdoor patio with stage and picnic tables. The inside tap house is well incorporated with all of the equipment.

They have really expanded their beer selections to include some solid imperial ales/stouts (Grog and Curly Wolf) and some Wild ale options.

Very relaxed atmosphere with a friendly staff. It's pretty cool to sit down basically right next to the fermenters and enjoy what came out of them. Nice outdoor space where you can hang out and play corn hole, plus a huge giant redwood slab with labeled rings going back for centuries. To top it off they have a self serve pretzel station and often a local food truck out front. I'll be coming back for sure.

Great outdoor and indoor spots. Good selection of house beers. Good selection of bottles to take home. Pretzels and cucumber water available. Also friendly staff. Music in the evenings. Great place to hang out for a few beers before getting dinner at Firestone up the street.

Funky location a few blocks away from the exit off of 101 (same exit as Firestone Walker), in a nondescript industrial park with all corrugated metal buildings...then the beer oasis of BarrelHouse Brewing pops up! Expansive outdoor garden/grass area with corn-hole, a beat down truck converted into a band stage, a plethora of seating, a water fall/pond and access to the walk up bar! Inside you can access the opposite side of the bar, or sit at one of a number of tables which surround their primary brew system. Walk back towards the bathroom and you can rest your hands on their massive foeder! Very laid back vibe, wide selection of house brewed beers (everything from IPAs to sours to Bavarian styles...etc.), nice staff. Will definitely be back.

- Visited the tasting room (Paso Robles, CA) on 5-Sep-15.
- Ordered flight of 6 beers

The ambiance is great; which couldn't be too hard since it's wine country. They designed the place to fit that environment. Much better than FW anyway, which is just a drive down the block. Plenty of outdoor seating, cornhole game available, and food trucks right next to the outdoor eating area.

The selection is pretty impressive, considering they're not that old of a brewery. Two wild ales, three IPA's, and even a BA vanilla imperial stout were available.

Place is soo cool. Great outdoor area, pet/kid friendly. Staff is very chill, approachable, and available. One time, one of the brewer's even helped me buy bottles even though they weren't open, and he had no till. But he laughed and chatted and never gave a hint of how much of a pain my request to buy beers was 2 hours before opening time. Great peeps.

Being just a couple miles from FW this spot tends to fly under the radar, but I highly suggest a stop. Very kicked back spot with beautiful grounds and very solid beers. 5 portfolio beers and limited releases. The IPAs were solid but not stunning. The Stouts were more impressive - really enjoyed the maple vanilla stout. Great spot to enjoy the SoCal weather with a fine micro.

This is a must go to place. It has a great outdoor area, you are allowed to bring your pets and kids (PLEASE KEEP THEM LEASHED). They get a great variety of bands out there. Bring your own food or get something from one of the many food trucks that head out there. (One per evening). Beers are not bad, some of them are right on the mark others fall a little short, but what brewery doesn't do that?

A great location. They have free bands playing every weekend during the summer and a food truck to eat at. Beautiful outdoor area to sit back and drink great beers.

Once i found the place tucked away in an unassuming industrial area, i was surprised to find a quality brewery with a gorgeous beer garden and entertaining bar staff.

The prices were standard; pints at $5, specialties from $6 up to $8 I think. All of the beers were good. Some of them are great.

A food truck even showed up. It was like an old airstream trailer but inside was a full kitchen where they cooked gourmet burgers and some sorts of fusion dishes. That was a little pricier but well worth it.

This place is absolutely amazing and a must visit if you are in the area or passing through.

The atmosphere is really cool and unique. The inside is modern and trendy while still maintaining a rustic feel to it. The outdoor area is what really stands out. There are picnic benches, and nice grass area to play games and nice gardens. There is also a stage for live bands set up on the back of an old vintage pick up truck.

The beer is also really good. I had a sampler that included their Pale Ale, IPA, DIPA and honey/ginger beer and I also had a pint of their cream stout and all of their beers ranged from above average to excellent.

The service was friendly and helpful as well.

Let me start off by saying that BarrelHouse Brewing nailed the "atmosphere" aspect almost perfectly. I was impressed with the burnished copper signs, brick walls and vintage decorations inside and by the waterfall and antique truck doubling as a music stage in the outdoor area. As for the quality of the product, I have to hand it to them they out did themselves. Very few start-up breweries can pull off a barrel aged (Whiskey/Maple syrup/Vanilla) stout as well as they did. The IPA was good and the APA was better than most. Now as far as the service was concerned; it was a bit lacking. The woman behind the bar was pleasant and knew her way around pouring a beer but didn't seem to know much about the beer or other breweries for that matter. The selection seemed reasonable...6 beers: Kolsch, Belgian Wit, IPA, APA, Stout and Barrel Aged Stout. The brewery itself doesn't serve food but has different vendors each night. All the prices seemed very reasonable ($15 shirts and $6 glasses) with the exception of the growlers($10 + $20/fill for the IPA or Stout) which seemed a little steep to me. Overall I was impressed by the quality of everything and I will return when I'm back in the area.

BarrelHouse Brewing Company in Paso Robles, Ca(central coast) opened on February 23, 2013. They had a live band called The JD Project who played on a custom stage built on the bed of an old pickup truck. The BarrelHouse Crew offered 4 of their delicious brews including an amazing German Kolsch, a very good Pale Ale, a smooth IPA and a rich, creamy Stout. I Highly recommend this new brewery.
