Cans via Tavour into a tulip. Beer totally matches is name, and delicious. Even given the unstable shipping temperatures it tasted delicious. Some haze with dankness all up front and towing some tropical undertones. This would be a regular purchase of local. Enjoyed all attributes of the beer, if fresh I'd grab without hesitation for my palate preferences.

Disappointed, given the summaries read here. Akin to a decent novice homebrew, its main setbacks are:

1) Dusty appearance and strong yeast flavor and aroma, as if from a poor yeast harvest or autolysis occurring in my recently purchased sixer (from Trader Joe’s). Cake bed impaction nonexistent, only a putrid colloidal mass that immediately folded into my glass, and

2) Overcarbonated. CO2 levels bordered on accidental, imparting the mouthfeel of a freshly opened Mexican Coke sans viscosity. Once swirled down to a drinkable volume, a respectable yet lingering IBU level came through, as if licking a bitter stamp.

Overall, annoyed at what could have been an enjoyable, middle-of-the-road IPA. Poor execution and control, an example of an off-batch that screams for a marked improvement of facilities management. Whether it was taxed yeast or bacterial infection, no brewery can sustain an institutional failure of this sort, and I foresee some staff changes in their near future, if not perhaps also another tasting.

From a can into a pint glass at the Shack on Telge. It was $2.00 can night so this beer will have to be pretty bad to disappoint me. Pours a cloudy orange with a nice fluffy off-white head. Nice aroma of tropicals with some faint pine. Not as dank-smelling as I would have expected from the name. Tastes nice and juicy with a great balance of malt to hops. Mouthfeel is perfect. I think the hops notes are more fruity than dank/resiny but it's a great-tasting IPA so I won't nit-pick there. The thing is, there are so many similar brews out there that I fear this may be one of those "I had a great time, I'll call you" moments when you know down deep that "See you 'round" is more likely "good bye".

12 oz can into a lager glass.

The hazy orange-amber body is topped by a large, fluffy white head that has good retention and leaves plenty of sticky lacing.

Aroma: strong; dank and fruity hops.

Flavor: the complex profile partially fits the name: this is somewhat dank. But there's also a fresh fruity element too. The moderate bitterness reflects more malts than otherwise expected.

O: about as refreshing as a "dank" IPA gets.

Trying the Dankosaurus whilst on layover in Houston at Mojos Sports Bar and Grill. The beer poured a hazy yellow with white head that is not leaving much of a lace. The scent is awesome...carries tropical fruit and pine...almost a ocean sea salt as well. The taste is not far from juicy fruit. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's definitely worth a shot.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy orange color with a large off-white colored head. The aroma is full of citrus and pine hops. The taste is full of citrus juice with a real nice blend if hops and malt.

Pours a hazed up gold/bronze with 3 fingers of ivory colored head. Fantastic lacing & good head retention

S: Grapefruit peel & tangerine

T: Grapefruit, flinty dryness, a little peach as well up front, plus tangerine. Pomelo, grapefruit & dryness as this warms, plus more tangerine. Finishes with a flourish of citrus & a little orchard fruit, with an emphasis on grapefruit, fairly crisp

MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, great balance

Drinks pretty darn easy, good take on the style
