True to form color with little head or carbonation. Nose had hints of citrus, grass and a little floral. Pretty good dipa true to the norm these days.

Probably the least hoppy double IPA I've had. The Claremont Craft Ales employee said it had a huge amount of hops, but malts dominate the beer. It's not bad, but you want to taste hops in a double IPA. On tap from the brewery, so you know the hops haven't faded either.

Light color signals not much malt competition for the hops. Delicious hop aroma leads into the same flavor, excellent balance for the style. No alcohol bite at all. Go get some!

On tap at Claremont Craft Ales in Claremont, CA.

Pours a clear honey orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and slight herbal flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a solid citrus forward hop presence that is slightly better in the aroma.

Pours a hazy golden honey color. Smells of light citrus, pineapple, juicy hops, with a small toasted biscuit finish. Taste beautifully reflects the smell with fruit forward hops, ample hops bitterness, with a small malt sweetness at the end. Feel is medium light, amply carbonated, which works well with the fruit forward hop flavors. Overall, this is a very good beer with great fruity characteristics.

Double IPA in a fairly pure form. Very clean taste without the overpowering yeast flavor that can come from heavy brews.

The beer is a clear pale gold with mild carbonation and head. I get a nice piney hop aroma with a nice citrus juice punch as well. The beer tastes similar nice backing of malts but a great piney/grassy hop flavor that lasts. A small amount of citrus. The beer has a a drying affect and a slight mouth coating.
