Explosive pop of the cap.
Foam fills glass before I get a chance to pour very much. Waiting for head to subside some.
Pour again - more explosive head
It's a red alright. Dark burgundy red. Abundant brown foamy head. Dissipates very slowly.
Very nice smooth taste. A little tart on the finish.
Needs to be a little cooler but that's my problem. Trying not to hold that against it.
All in all, a nice enjoyable beer. Very sessionable.

scored a bottle of this very limited release beer at my local BIMART store in Portland. poured into a tulip glass from a 22oz. wax topped bomber.Pours a light mahogany color
with a one inch head that slowley dissapates into a
pleasing lace on the surface of the beer. This is a malt forward beer in both the aroma and flovour with sweetness derived from the crystal malt. At 5.5% this is the perfect session beer.
Unfortunatley it is extremely limited. get it if you can.
