16oz can. Pours a translucent golden straw color with an inch of head. Good amount of lacing. The nose is grassy hops, hay, bready malts and some spicy hops as well. The taste is malty and grassy with hay and some sweet bread. Spicy hop finish with more hay and malts. Lightly carbonated with very little alcohol. Solid beer.

Hazy, dehydrated piss yellow with a churning effervescence and two fingers of off-white foam head that last a good while and leave heavy rings of lacing.
Big bready aroma that approaches being cake-like due to some underlying sweetness. Floral hops beneath that.
The cakey malt character continues to the taste. Unfortunately, there's also an off-putting, oniony quality to the hops. It has a pretty clean finish with a slight bitterness and metallic tinge on the backend.
Medium bodied with low carbonation and a hint of grit in the feel.
Not sure if that oniony character is a product of age or travel, but for me, it ruins what is an otherwise quality brew. 5/30/17 canned on date.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 5/30/17
Poured into a Squatters true pint glass a really nice clean/clear dark golden yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, some hops, really nice grassy note, citrusy. The taste is pretty nice, malty, hoppy, citrusy, grassy, some spicyness, nice sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew, true to style, a very nice thirst quencher. Thanks Dave!

Just cracked a Jack's Abbey House Lager; I prefer the Dad's Breath

Growler from Beer World, Kingston, NY.
Ringing snow over bright gold. 4
Soap, herb, and toast. 4
Sliced pan, bit of granola, hint of nut, then grass and hay. 4
Fragrant herbal linger.
Crisp, light+, slight cling. 4
Restrains noble hops in the interest of balance. Does what it sets out to, and stands up to repeated visits. Makes Suarez Family look better by contrast, though. 4
