This place is almost right across the street from the northbound exit off !-84 for Rt 10 in Southington. It is located in an old auto dealership, and they have done a beautiful job renovating the interior. The beer coolers are along the back wall, with more selections along the left side. They have an amazing variety of bombers, some of them in wine racks as oppose to just sitting on the shelf. I was particularly impressed with the international selection. I didn't have a lot of time, but I found a few bottles I had to have: a 500ml Pinkus Certifed Organic Hefeweizen (hadn't seen that one since I was in Germany), a Imperial Stout from Chile called Quimera (a country more noted for it's wine), and a Imperial Kellerbier called One Foot in the Grave, brewed by Relic, a local brewer from Plainville, just north of Southington.

There is drive thru service, utilizing the old auto dealership repair bay, but it did not seem to be open the day I was there.

With this store, and Southington Wine & Spirits just a quarter mile down the road, I will always try to allow time for a stop when passing thru the area on !-84!

Good selection and very fair prices.

The ability to purchase a single out of random six-packs, at modest markup, lets one experiment without having to manage a fridge of mistakes.

Not near my house but I try to stop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

Mark and stephane do a great job of finding hard to get beer. Prices are good. Good focus on ct breweries and many bombers to choose from. Huge store. If you take the time to talk about beers you like and become a steady customer, they will put aside hard to find offerings for when you come in. Have gotten Gandhi, Lawson's, ksb and others this way.

Best selection in the area. Also very knowledgeable beer staff. Love this place! If you become a regular there they will hold specialty items. They are also willing to order from any distributer to get what the customers want. And...they have a drive thru option. Just sayin.

This liquor store is very easy to get to off I-84 in Southington. So, even if you are not too familiar with the area, it is still easy to find, right along one of the main business districts, Queen Street.
And the parking was also easy, which is nice.

Upon walking in, a DeLorean greets you, nothing to do with beer or wine, but cool nonetheless. The store is big, though well laid out. Beer gets a good amount o shelf and cooler space. They have a good amount of locals available, such as NEBCO, Relic, Thomas Hooker, etc. A good amount of beer from other parts of the U.S., including Stone, Rouge, Founders, etc. As well as some Belgians, Germans, even New Zealand beers. Staff was helpful and friendly, with at least 1 very knowledgeable in terms of craft beer, employee present. The prices were good, and would recommend stopping in to pick up some brew.

Wow...went in here a couple of weeks back. Great selection of some great beers both locally and nationally. Great bomber selection and a half way decent single selection. But the service was the real special thing here Adam was off the charts awesome, he knows a ton about beer and keeps the price on the low side to keep people shopping there.

This place is located in an old Jaguar dealership right off of i-84 on Queen St in Southington.
The place is well lit, organized, and very modern looking.

The beer section isn't exactly huge, but it is loaded with quality stuff. Large quantities of Clown Shoes, Founders, Stone, GI, NEBC and Sixpoint are to be found. Bombers have their own neat section, and right across the aisle is where sixers are located. On the otherside of that is a generous area dedicated to imports. There are a couple of displays with various things.
Refrigerated section holds most of the seasonal stuff among numerous other things. Mostly things that appear to be fast movers like Sam Adams, Harpoon, and Long Trail.
I've never seen old stock here.

The prices are on the low end of expected. For example, most places around Hartford, BCBS was going for $25.99 a sixer. Here it was $22.99. Things like this are the norm here.

Service here is great. The beer guy (Adam) is very knowledgeable about upcoming beers and when things will hit the shelves. The store manager is up on pretty much everything going on in the store.

Anyways, highly recommend. Would be more of a go-to store if I lived a bit closer.
