33cl/12oz bottle. Looks identicle to the 8 except the label is black instead of white. Picked up in Ghent, also available in Bruges.

Very dark color, typical of a quad. Holding it up to the light reveals hints of amber. Pours with a very thin layer of head.

First smell I picked up was candy, sugary similar to the smell of gummy bears.

Taste is strong with sugar and fruit. There is a touch of cocoa in the after taste.

Sits easy on the tounge. The alcohol content is muted and doesnt jump out at you as a 10%. Very easy to drink compared to other quads. Mild carbonation.

Very drinkable beer. If this was available in the states id add it to my collection of quads.

I tried at 0.33l bottle of this at Gambrinus in Brugge on 02OCT17. Cost was €4.25.

Had a super, clear mahogany color and a healthy, rocky, tan head. It lasted well, with good lacework on the glass. Aroma was quite restrained, with dark fruit detected. Feel had some prickle, and it was a stretch to get to medium for the body.

Taste had dark fruit, some dates and figs, and was a touch vinous. Had little in the way of sweetness, being rather dry, and almost tart. Had some hints of candi sugar and a little cocoa powder. A middle of the road quad, without much complexity. Cheers!
