Nice roomy, well renovated space. Plenty of seating.

Most bottled beer is kept cold, organized by style, and clearly visible behind the glass doors. Bottle prices are a tad high but drafts are well priced (e.g., $4 for Founders Harvest).

In the West End near Grenville Drive (baseball) and Smiley’s (food and music).

Friendly, knowledgeable service.

The Growler Station is a great place with a huge selection of bottles and 24 drafts on tap for growler fills. A knowledgeable staff includes a certified beer guy named Jon. Their filling system is like nothing else in town, it basically bottles the beer by purging the oxygen and replacing it with co2. The beer stays fresh longer and tastes great! I opened a growler last night that I bought 15 days ago and it tasted like it was poured today! I highly recommend checking them out in the West End next to Smileys. They share a parking lot and there is also a lot across the street.

Stopped in after dinner at Mac's. Short walk across some parking lots over to Augusta. In fact, might be easier to park over here and walk over to Mac's.

Was expecting the usual growler station beer selection, but was impressed with the bottle selection as well. They have a fair amount of inside seating, so wonder if they can serve on-premise? No one else was in the shop (at 7 on a Friday).

8 or so cooler doors worth of cold singles, plus a few shelves of warm beer by the front door. Pretty good selection with some Stone collaborations I had not seen anywhere else recently in town.

Growler selection was good, not great. Their trick is to do counter-pressure fills, meaning that theoretically the growler will last longer in your fridge. They also fill 2-liter soda bottles for the ultimate picnic growler.

Service was ok. They stressed the counter-pressure fill system, but didn't seem to know as much about their product.

Overall, a nice addition to the Greenville beer scene. They have some solid competition, though.
