Interesting and complex brew. Pours a yellow tinted gold with a short white head. Herbal and vegetable nose but inviting - not offensive. Smelled a bit of fresh grass and green peppers with some herbal spice tones. Flavor profile matched the nose.

Mouth feel was nice carbonation and balance.

I can see where the flavor profile may be off putting at first and to some. However, the flavors are layered and complex. Green and earthy herbs, pepper tones but with a crisp and clean tone. The flavor profile is not familiar but not bad and I'd drink again.

The contents of this bottle taste like butter pecan, which leads me to believe there is something wrong with the beer. Faint raspberry on the nose, but otherwise dominated by buttery elements on the nose and palate. Disappointed by this local offering. I wonder if anyone else has had the same experience.

Finally cracked in honor of one of the greatest: Prince (Raspberry Beret is one of the finest pop songs of all time). Half-finger of cloudy-white head; jam-sweet -cum-pricklingly-acidic nose. Evocative of tart fruit sweetness, if maybe not raspberry in particular, but extremely easy to drink. Larger-than-life sensation in this sour: not the biggest, or the brightest, but putting on a show and rounding-out quite nicely on the tongue (those bubbles!).

12 oz bottle poured into a DFH snifter.

Pours a clear golden color with a half finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Aroma is tart, with a signature Brettanomyces sourness. First sip is pleasantly sour, with a lot of tart raspberry flavor. Dry, biscuity finish.

This is a really nice sour beer. It's easy to overdo the tart flavors, but this beer gives you just enough sour kick without completely overwhelming your palate. The dry finish leaves you reaching for another sip.

Pours clear with a small, short-lived head. Minimal lacing.
Smell is faint. Raspberry, a little funk.
Taste is mostly brett, not much fruit.
Finishes very dry.

Solid if unspectacular. More a brett ale than a fruit beer.
