Our Oat and Milk Sugar IPA brewed with 100% of the sexiest Mosaic we could get our hooves on. Bursting with tropical fruits and a citrus berry medley on the back end with just a hint of resin. Way more fluffy than its 6% would indicate.

Traded for this beer a few weeks back and got around to it on this snowy night. Haven't had a beer from Bolero Snort in quite some time but this one was a smooth sipper that held it's own with the more popular and higher-rated IPA's from this neck of the woods. I was surprised to see how low some of the ratings were for this, but I would attribute it more to a bad can than the overall makeup of this beer.
Not a bad pour to this as the beer had a dank melon hue to it with a bit of sediment floating around in the liquid. The head was more than sufficient and the lacing might have been the best aspect of this beer as each ring of voluminous suds seemed to bleed down into the next. Lots of dankness and tea-like spice in the nose as the Earl Grey really kicked in once I took a sip of this. To be fair, there was enough dank and floral hops in the taste to give this beer an identity. Lots of 420 in the nose once this warmed up as this reminded me of something from Mendocino or the like. Some tangerine sweetness and dirty water-bong feeling rounded this out as the Mosaic hop was loud and clear in this from start to finish!
Thankfully, the alcohol took a back seat to all of the craziness that was going on with this but in the end, the odd flavors and mild creamsicle-like sweetness were enough to win me over. Thought it took a bit of getting used to, I enjoyed this beer and how it stood out from the other IPA's from my home state, to the point where I'd grab another brew from these guys should one come across my path in the near future.

From the crack of the can, a giant tropical bloom meets your nose. Pouring a pale yellow, nearly tangerine color, this beer greets you with loads of tropical fruit. However, the mouthfeel is thinner than expected, without much mouth coating. The finish is surprisingly crisp, making this a rarely crushable hopped-up IPA.

Not retired. Canned 1/23/18. So not the freshest, since I am drinking it 4/13/18. Pretty good beer. Nice and hoppy, a little bitter. Slightly hazy. Light in color. A bit of yeast at the bottom, doesn't bother me. I think I will drink another! 6.0 abv

Single can copped from Total Wine and More in West Orange. Pours a golden effervescent hue with moderate frothing. Assertive aroma replete with hints of citrus and grapefruit. Similar overall flavor profile.

NOT retired, it’s seasonal and was just released again last week of January 2018. Super delicious with a creamy feel thanks to the addition of lactose. Ever since BS switched the location of manufacture their beers have been super consistent and really delicious.

On draft
Clear lighter yellow in color, white head. Good lacing. Nice multidimensional hop aroma - dank, grass, melon, berry. Only moderately bitter, similar flavor. Medium bodied, nice feel.
