Disclaimer - I developed a soft spot for this brew as it was clutch geting me through a looong night at the brewery. Consider it extensive one-night research, and I can safely attest to its drinkability.

Orange gold pour with a moderate frothy head. Aroma is pith, pine and citrus. Nice balance of citrus and green, sappy pine. Taste is grapefruit, orange peel, papaya, pine with a nice bitter aftertaste that lingers for a second. Smooth and crisp; well carbonated and you already heard me opine about the drinkability. Great beer.

Poured Coast to Coast into a Belgian Tulip.
A - Pours a cloudy orange to amber hue with 2 fingers of white head.
S - I smell some grapefruit, citrus and dank hops.
T - On first taste I'm getting citrus, bitter hops a little dankness in there as well. Mid palate more grapefruit, citrus and hops.
M - Medium.
O - So so Ipa. Just a gob of beers out there that out shine this one. Cheers!

My favorite of the three beers I had on tap at Fifty West. Not too bitter, very nicely balanced. Smooth, crisp, and easy drinking. If I had easier access to this I would drink this often.

Picking up the pieces and parts of flavor that span Route 50 from coast to coast, the Fifty West brewers didn't have to venture far for inspiration to put into their IPA. Hoppy at its core, a host of flavors hit the palate that says that this beer is much more than just bitter.

Coast To Coast opens with a bright golden amber glow, diffused only by the veil of haze from dry-hopping. Its scent muddled with a citrus, tropic and herbal bouquet also picks up on caramel and lightly toasted grain. Sweet to start, the beer's granola and angel-food cake maltiness is both tasted and felt.

The tide turns over the course of the middle palate as the sweetness fades and the hops begin to rise. Trending citrusy and herbal, the malty, nutty and sweetly toasted edges of the beer flutter away and the tangy, juicy, piquantly bitter aspects of the beer awaken. Fresh pine shavings, grass clippings and herbal teas play out in a deeply resinous taste to close.

Medium-bodied and trending dry, the beer's insistance on a sweet rebuttal inhibits its full hop display. Semi-dry, crisp and malty clean, the beer's final impressions are of deeply lingering bitterness and a piney perfume in accompaniment.
