another cincy brew brought back to me, dumped this one into a pint glass on a quiet afternoon. it's a crystal clear gold, the tiniest bit of white foam came and went with nothing to show for it even after quite the messy pour on my part. on the nose there's a light hint of grains and half-done toast, with a smidge of citrus that i could be imagining. a fairly mild flavor profile follows that with a dose of breadiness, grain and grass, and the smallest tinge of some lemon, with nothing there really shining through but nothing messing up the joint either. good carbonation, light and refreshing and very easy to drink. an inoffensive little brew that works for a quick rest on my porch.

I'm trying this beer at Blinkers in Covington, KY. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent was non-descript with maybe subtle grain presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with slight citrus highlights ontop of a grain base. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Straw gold with sparkling clarity. Surprisingly thin head after a rowdy pour. Tons of bubbles, though. Leaned my ear towards the glass and it sounded like I just poured out a can of soda. More head please.
Aroma and taste of grain, grass, bread and biscuit. More biscuit than usual that makes it almost pilsner-esque.
Feel is crisp, slightly creamy and effervescent. Great beer but could do with less of the latter.
On a side note, I read reviews for craft American lagers and I'm not sure what most folks feel a 4+ rated lager requires or if it even exists. Seems like it's a hard beer to rate by style and scores are artificially low.

Poured from a can into a Goose Island pub glass. Very clear and light gold in color with 2 fingers of fine white foam. Well attenuated. Good retention. Nose is bright with some biscuit-like notes and a hint of white pepper.
Light body with a mild well-balanced flavor. Some faint mealy notes up front, a bit of fresh bread, and a dry hoppy kiss at mid-palate. Very drinkable and refreshing, but there are lagers out there with more flavor than this one.

An above average lager (Stella, Heineken, etc) but a bit creamier.

Pours gold. Foamy, short, white head that Fades fast.
Smells grain, light grassy, Light Citrus and Light apple.
Taste sweet bready malt, light lemon, grassy hints and grain. Finishes dry with grain and light citrusy linger. Lighter body and fizzy lower carbonation.
