On tap at the brewery, which describes it as follows: "unfiltered, medium bodied amber ale has brown hues, solid hop bitterness, and is infused with one pound of freshly crushed coriander seeds per barrel."

A: Sounds like a lot of coriander, but the nose is of a lightly spiced amber ale.

T: I've had many over-spiced beers; this is not one of them. Instead, the coriander has been added prudently so as to shade and complement the amber ale base. Very good sweet/bitter balance.

M: exceptionally smooth: medium-low carbonation; medium+ body.

O: An outstanding variant of an American Amber. It seems that there's an excellent (but perhaps not very interesting) amber ale base artfully altered with coriander to create a unique version with more complexity and interest. I believe this was created as a one-tie brew, but the popularity and very positive response I was seeing in the tasting room may well mean a spot in the rotating or even the regular line-up. I'll add my vote for this.
