I love going to the brewery before a Sox game, good beers, but the ones they bottle seem to be so-so.
Pours a huge 2 finger fizzy slight creamy head that fades semi slowly, nice lacing too, super hazy slight sediment laden orange-red colored.
Nose brings a nice herbal aroma, the rosemary is quite dominant, a bit of earthy grassy hop characters with slight citrus and fruit, mild caramel malt with little sweet malt smell.
Taste starts wtih sweet malt, caramel and juicy sweet malt, little toasty. Right into rosemary, lots of rosemary like this is a pure rosemary fermented beverage. Hops are mild grassy and a little earthy, hint spicy and piney, fair bitterness between the hops and rosemary. Malts turn a little candy like with mild booze warmth, bit fluffy, and a little yeasty bready touch. Finish is still sweet, quite bitter as the hops really take over between the grassy earthy slight spicy hops and the rosemary, little caramel malt character too.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb.
Overall not bad, nothing great either, so much rosemary and little good hop character, decent malty balance, and bit boozy for only 7.5%, but not bad as an overall beer that delivers plenty of rosemary as it promised.

Pours a two finger white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Nearly clear amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit hop nose and flavor is grapefruit hops with lingering bitter aftertaste, more like an IPA. $3.75 for a 12oz bottle from Julio's Liquors Marlboro, MA.

Received a medium gold brew with a slight head. No lace.
Big herbal nose. You absolutely get the rosemary in this one. Some malt notes bring up the rear. with a touch of pine.
Herbal bitterness, some citric rind, some lean malt, cracker notes, a little soapy, finishing with some lightly malty bitterness.
Medium to medium light in body.
Decent, and different. The rosemary give this a nice touch, and it helps a rather average brew into being a better beer.

A: Pours a hazy orange amber, a tad light for an IPA of 7.5%. BIg thick head leaves some webs. Looks unfiltered.
S: Alot of rosemary, floral, probably cascade hops, some grapefruit, some pineapple and a little tropicalness going on.
T: Hops up front, more floral than the taste. A ton of rosemary, a little bit too much for my liking. Not much malt backbone. Mostly pine in the taste. Lotta pine in the taste. A touch of bready yeast.
M: Solid body, quite rich, a little chewy/heavy, seems a bit over carbonated .
O: Its decent, kinda interesting as a I havent had a rosemary beer before, its very floral. If you like floral ipa's I'd say try it, otherwise probably not worth the money. Not a bad beer per se, but basically a normal IPA with a shitload of rosemary.

12oz longneck
A) Pours with a big white head that takes awhile to settle. Clear, light bronze body. Sticky lacing on the drink down.
S) Noticeable rosemary but not much else.
T) Hop bite from the start. The rosemary mixes in quite well and doesn't overtake the palate. Lingering hop bite and rosemary in the finish.
M) Medium light body. Slightly dry finish.
O) A decent brew. Again the rosemary fits well in this profile, but personally I wish there was more of it.
