7.5% ABV per growler label.Nice to try a beer from yet another new brewery here in NC.Pours into an imperial nonic a clear copper color with a frothy half finger white head atop.A blast of grapefruit rind-lie hops really jump out at ya in the nose at first whiff, faint toasted grain is detected as well.I really like the blast of hops upfront. The hops are a little more subdued on the palate but there is a nice shot of that grapefruit rind and a bit of resin as well,a sweetish caramel/biscuit base is there thru to the finish,a tinge of sweet alcohol lingers as well a little pepperiness seems to com into play as I drink more as well.A solid "bigger" IPA here,I look forward to trying more of White Street's wares in the future.

A solid IPA. In a good way, i.e. that was not a backhanded compliment.

Only in the south could a brewery name itself "White Street" without feeling self-conscious.

Hops: Amarillo and Citra.

A nice, balanced IPA that will appeal to many palates. Both hops and malts are understated but not insipid. A very good but just not great IPA.

Poured a fantastic copper colour with a very thick, foamy head that has quite a lot of staying power. There was quite a bit of sediment at the bottom, but it definitely didn't impact the flavour in any negative way, so I'm going to assume it's there for a good reason. This is definitely a more mild IPA - a very nice citrus flavour that isn't too pronounced or overdone, and isn't terribly hoppy. Has a nice, full mouthfeel that ends up making this a fantastic beer to sit back and relax with.Overall, this is a fantastic offering from one of the (relatively - founded 2012) new breweries in NC.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appeara ce is a clear golden amber with a large thick off-white head. The taste has a nice sharp hop bite.

Shocked that a small town beer is this good. Next to Sculpin, this is my new fav.

Poured with virtually no head, but a nice semi-clear golden hue. Minimal carbonation present. Smells mild, a little citrus, a little bready. The taste is very good, more like an English IPA than an American one, crisp and nicely balanced. A nice creamy feel as well. I've been enjoying some heavy hitters of late in the IPA department like Ruin Ten and Sucks, and although this is not in their league, it was a refreshing satisfying brew.

@ White Street

Clear golden color topped with a tight, thick head. Decent lacing rings the glass. Aromas of orange, lemon, and pineapple, all crusted with sugar and joined by some light floral and grass and a bit or cracker malts. Flavor is hoppy: grapefruit, pineapple, green pine, and some oily, leafy dankness. Medium bodied and bitter with a dry finish. A solid, bright IPA.
