Heist opened its doors in 2012, as Charlotte’s only Craft Brewpub.
Originally brewing on a 10HL German brewhouse, we expanded in 2017, adding 30 barrel production facility.
Our original focus was on small batch beer in the traditional Belgian and German style brews. In 2016, we found our stride, creating the original hazy IPA in North Carolina, CitraQuench'l. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to expand our portfolio, now ranging from hazy IPAs and pilsners to fruited sours and adjuncted stouts. We still make the occasional small batches, which are typically kept in house for pours at both our locations.
But.........
We are more than beer. So much more.
Our food menu has seen many iterations throughout the years. One thing has remained a constant, and always will be. Showcasing wood-fired specialties, our flatbreads and dips have been our pride and joy. Sandwiches and wraps have become a staple, and our burgers use a hand-selected combination of meats that have become a proprietary blend. You wont find it anywhere else!
With an effort to raise the bar of pub fare to the next level, our chefs seek out produce and meats from local farms and purveyors, and utilize ingredients from the brewing process.
Our cocktail program is also forever evolving. From simple and refreshing, to more complex and thought provoking, we strive to make sure you will find something to enjoy, no matter what the occasion may be.
Above all, Heist is an experience. Enjoy!
