A blend of imperial stouts aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Then conditioned on over 40 pounds per barrel of cocoa, roasted peanuts, and caramel. Our homage to Snickers candy bars, rich milk chocolate, salted peanuts, with hints of spice from the bourbon barrels, and a touch of caramel sweetness.

Appearance: Pours midnight brown with a beige film that quickly fades to a collar with a drone light show pattern in the middle; leggy but no lacing
Smell: The "homage" to a Snickers bar certainly smells like a Snickers bar; complementing Bourbon tones waft, as well
Taste: The Snickers blend of chocolate, caramel and peanuts is all there, up front, with the Bourbon emerging, in the middle; unlike the base beer, which was a bit hot, the Bourbon here is much more complementary; the finish is moderately sweet but not cloying
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation
Overall: I'm not the biggest fan of pastry stouts but count me among the impressed by this beer
