Short Review. It's solid for the style, but I found it to be watery tasting a little on the watery side when it came to the mouthfeel, it's not bad, but it's not fully what I look for in the style. I don't think I would order this again.

Enjoyed on draught 22 Mar 2014.
A: Black. Dark brown head, decent retention, some lacing.
S: Sweet, roasted malts. Hints of coffee and chocolate. Slightly boozy.
T: Deeply roasted malts lead this beer on to the palate. Booziness comes in early and stays through, though not overpowering. The flavor is straightforward.
M: Smooth on the palate. Medium body, some carbonation, but not too heavy.
O: A remarkably great beer, considering its lack of complexity, and generally simple (and easily understood character).
