Nitro pounder can poured into a snifter appears black with a creamy khaki head.
Aroma is rich with coffee and chocolate, some underlying maple sweetness and carbonic/mineral character.
Initial flavor is quite mineral laden with maple sweetness, chocolate, earthen roasty coffee and lingers with a carbonic/tin-like finish.
Medium body, slick and enjoyable but would be much more enjoyable without the heavy mineral/carbonic character.

Nitro can, 16 oz.
L. Black, pretty much opaque, tan pillow of froth an inch tall recedes ever so slowly.
S. Roasty malts, semi-sweet chocolate, coffee, slight maple.
T. Bready right up front, sweet roasted toasted malts balanced with a slightly bitter coffee following, some bitter and sweet chocolate, more breadiness and even a bit caramely as it warms, sweet breakfast cereal, finishes with cocoa with some maple sugar mixed in there. Not too terribly sweet.
F. Medium body but smooth, finished a little chalky. No booze whatsoever.
O. Never been a fan of nitro beers unless on draft, but this one is really nice. The complimentary flavors work well for me, the coffee being prevalent at first, and the maple not so much, but coming in the back end especially as it comes closer to room temp. Cheers, peoples ! ! !

From a 16oz can dated 12/13/17. Beautiful pour...inky black with a long-lasting tan head. Subdued but nice nose of roasted malt. Quite sweet on the palate for my tastes, and clear coffee notes, too. Pleasant beer.

Can to Goblet. (canning 11/27/17)
LOOK: Brown/black, cola like appearance. Minimal head.
AROMA: lots of maple, wood, wheat, chocolate. don't really get the coffee
TASTE: some sweetness from the maple, also a deep woody flavor and some grainy notes.
FEEL: medium body, thin for a stout. ok carbonation.
A tad disappointed since this type of beer is up my alley, but this is tasty; just not firing on all cylinders.
