A: Pours a hazy medium to dark honey orange in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation and moderate golden yellow highlights. The beer has a finger tall fizzy foamy light beige head that quickly reduces to a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of earthy funky tartness with light aromas of citrus/lime and hints of toasted coconut. Very light aromas of oak barrel and vinous hints.

T: Upfront there is a light flavor of pale + grainy malts with just a hint of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of earthy tart funkiness and a light to moderate flavor of citrus/lime and light flavors of toasted coconut. Finally there is a light to moderate flavor of oak and vinous notes. Light amounts of tartness lingers in the finish.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of acidic prickliness.

O: Interesting with a decent amount of complexity to both the flavor and aroma - there are definitely aspects that make me think of a tropical beach. A little more subdued in flavors than I expected but still very enjoyable.

This beer pours a pale gold with a tiny head. The aroma is of lemon and orange sourness with toasted almond, vanilla, and maybe some coconut. The flavor is very straight forward sour - lots of green apple, lemon, and sour orange. There is no coconut flavor I can find. The mouthfeel is medium bodied. Overall there was nothing wrong with this beer, but I just did not get much of what was advertised.

Poured from 16.9oz bottle. Also known as "Call Me In The Morning 2015".
Body is cloudy gold, was clear until final yeast pour. Fizzy head quickly dissipates. No lacing.
Smell is lemon and lime, and whiff of coconut.
Taste is tart sour, with wisp of coconut, warming brings out the coconut.
Clean, brisk mouth feel.
Living sour beer with coconut present.

Beer pours a pleasant golden color, demonstrating decent carbonation with a pleasant white head. The nose is pungently coconut! Expectations are set.

Sadly, Paradox's Call Me in the Morning doesn't deliver on the taste. While it's a pleasant, juicy, sweet sour, the coconut seems absent. I get plenty in the nose, but the coconut just doesn't translate to the taste.

It's a decent sour, and I enjoyed it - but it doesn't live up to expectations.
