Amber gold orange with an off-white head, notes of red wine like merlot, funky tart blueberries, sour apple, vinous grape, dark berry, oak barrel, slight vanilla, golden grainy malts, citrus melange, with some floral earthy piney hops

A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to deep reddish orange topped by a dense two finger white head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of blueberries and sourness with a little oak. Slightly chalky on the nose.
T: Taste is blueberries, tartness, and some light funk along with some grassy citrus. Slight furniture polish with some wood notes as well. On the finish this beer has more notes of blueberries, grassyness, slight citrus and some lingering funky oak.
M: This beer has a moderate amount of body with a slightly slick feel. Carbonation is effervescent but not prickly while the beer has a drying finish.
O: Overall this one isn't quite what I expected. It's a little more funky than it is sour and the fruit isn't quite as forward as some of their other beers. It's still a really well made beer that has some nice flavors and complexity.

"Blue Bines"
Bottle Conditioned
Bottled On: 011717
Poured into a tulip a very nice clean/clear reddish color, very nice carbonation, with a quick fizzy white head, which leaves some small islands and sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, floral notes, slight blueberries, tart, funky. The taste is very nice, malty, bitter/sour, yeasty, real nice funkyness, slight blueberries. Medium body. Overall, this is a very nice brew.
