Served In a snifter from the bottle.
Appearance: Brown to black body but still transparent with medium bubbles on the body.
Smell: light whiskey smell with touch of candy.
Taste: Sweet complex nuts maybe cashews soaked in whiskey and sugar. Problem is lacks potency.
Mouth: Touch flat but it could be the batch.
Overall: Descent brew, don't let the bourbon name fool you. Better stuff out there or maybe I need a better batch. Salud.

Draught snifter at the Brass Tap here in Baltimore. Nice beer, but NOT a Baltic Porter.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a Speiglau BA glass.
Look is a dark amber brown with an off white head.
Aroma is malty with a slight boozy note at the end.
Aroma starts off delicious a nice mix of malty and boozy but it gets a little astrigent at the end.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a medium brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, off white head that lasted an average amount of time. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A very average aroma of roasted malt, bourbon, chocolate, caramel, and hops.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of the advertised bourbon (and the accompanying barrel), light caramel notes, some roasted malt, a bit of hops in the finish, and light chocolate notes. The problem with the flavor here is that it's a little weak. None of the ingredients (except the bourbon) are able to shine. Underwhelming, but not awful.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with a somewhat thin finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Overall, not an impressive beer. Could have been better.

A thin looking draw that had little head but a good smell. Tastes very good and has a bit of sweetness and the alcohol is well hidden. Goes down easy and I have decided to have another on National Beer Day. Go Frogs
