Restoration Pale Ale is made with Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. It is liberally hopped and dry hopped with American Cascade and fermented with California Ale yeast. The end result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

This Pale Ale by Abita has 5.2% ABV (NOT 5.0%) and has 25 IBUs. The color index is 9 SRM. I poured this into a standard pub pint glass.
Look-It pours a significantly hazy orange-yellow with a white foamy head that settles quickly. It almost looks like a Heffeweizen, but maybe not AS hazy.
Smell-It smells of lemon and various citrus and tropical fruits along with some honey-suckle malts.
Taste-I taste guava, papaya, mango, pineapple, and orange peel citrus from the hops and a brilliant honey-based malt backbone. I pick up on some light bready and toasty malts as well. The carbonation is a mild fizz and the mouthfeel is medium-bodied and soapy/sudsy. There are slight hop oils lingering on the tongue.
Overall-This is a proper Pale Ale as I would describe it: quite refreshing and sufficiently complex. The flavors mix well yet are distinguishable. Cheers!
