Pint glass on tap at the New Orleans Hilton Airport.

Hazy golden colour with a thin white head leaving lacing down the sides.

Piney herbal hops in the nose.

Same thing on the palate. Long lasting after taste.

A little thin and could use some malt backbone. Decent and worth a try

Clear orange/gold pour with a thick white one-finger head and lots of carbonation. Aroma has bit of lemon and floral hops. Taste has a mildly bitter grapefruit flavor upfront that is quickly balanced out by grainy and bready malt. Finishes crisp with a lingering piney hop flavor.

Pour from bottle into Kuhnhenn IPA glass:
A: Clear pour with healthy cap of foam that quickly fades to a thin layer.
S: Very nice for an APA. Lots of grapefruit and spice.
T: Hops, hops, hops. Pine and grapefruit with a bitter finish.
M: Heavy carbonation with a slight hop syrup finish.
O: The bouquet promises more than the flavor delivers, which is probably the main problem with this Pale Ale, which is quite drinkable. The finish is a little too bitter for the style.
