Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass.

A- Pours a beautiful orange/ red color that is quite opaque, probably due to the raspberries being added after filtration. Gives a 1 finger frothy head that dissipates quickly.

S- Sour raspberries, like a framboise lambic. Had high hopes because of the smell, as I'm a fan of framboise.

T- Kind of a letdown. A one trick pony really, has a natural but bitter raspberry flavor. It's not sticky or artificial, but it's really not that tasty or sophisticated.

M- Medium, effervescent carbonation.

O- Did not meet expectations. Good for one or two, but would not buy another 6 pack. It's an attractive beer, but it's exceedingly simple.

I tasted no flavor at all. Not a bad beer, but not one I would buy again. very disappointed. After two, taste did not improve and I felt nothing. Bottle has nice design, catches your eye, looked good in glass, but had no flavor whatsoever that i could detect.

a: pretty gold colour with clouding and suspended particles from raspberry pulp, as suggested on the label. Thin head mostly goes away after pouring, but not quite.

s: wheaty, ever so slightly pleasantly skunky in that way that only comes from raspberries.

t: a wee bit tart, a wee bit wheaty. Not as much raspberry as I'd hoped for or as much as the smell promised. It's like ... raspberries WERE here, once. A little disappointing.

m: fizzy, slippery, refreshing.

o: better than the component scores would suggest, honestly. I'm disappointed by what I thought it would be, but on the whole it's just fine for what it is.
