How i survive hot Louisiana summers. Good with seafood and barbecue or sitting by the river people watching. I was doing this once in as small town off Lake Pontchartrain when a guy from the brewery bought me a round because I was drinking his beer.

Is that why I like it? Didn't hurt but it's probably more because its light and goes down easy on a hot afternoon.

L: bright to brilliant purple tinted amber under a 1" lightly pink tinted white foam cap

S: Raspberry is the big aroma

T: raspberry dominates with some vegetable flavor in the background and a touch of raspberry tart in the finish. Malt flavors are medium and hop flavors and bitterness are low.

F: medium light bodied with medium carbonation

O: A little too close to a wine cooler for my tastes.

I enjoyed it but found the raspberry to be extremely light. The overall flavor was fine but nothing that blew my mind, maybe even a little bland. Had it out of the bottle, look and smell was up to par.

Overall glad I tried it but I don't see myself picking it up again any time soon.

Had it on tap in a plastic cup at the French Quarter Acme Oyster House in New Orleans. It went fine with my charbroiled oysters and jambalaya. Subtle berry flavor. It looked fine in the plastic cup, good lacing. I would order it again in the French Quarter.

L: Great reddish/burgundy color. Poured from 12 ounce bottle into glass. Love the look this has. Little head.

S: Fresh raspberries, clean alcohol, wheat, some malt

T: Berries up front. Really not sweet at all, which I like. Wheat as it goes down. Sorta like fruity bread almost. The sweetness level is done well, but I would've liked and expected a little more fruity considering the branding and the color.

F: This has a great mouthfeel. Above average carbonation but it suits the variety quite well. Super super refreshing.

O: Would recommend this to anyone. Think it can be enjoyed by a variety of beer lovers. Definitely will revisit again.
