Enjoyed at the Abita Brewery, then again at a party.
A: Hazy golden/orange with a frothy off-white one finger head that lingered. Lacing for days.
S: Nice citrus notes of orange, peach and apricots. Belgian yeast and peppers protrude.
T: Very smooth and frothy. The floral and citrus notes hit you immediately with peach and apricot. Belgian malts and yeast linger long after the finish. Sweet throughout.
M: Thick and chewy with medium to high carbonation. This one is a joy on the tongue.
O: A great party drink. Very sessionable. The light fruitiness and Belgian yeastiness of French Connection make it a hit with both guys and ladies. Abita has a very strong line of Select beers. This is another winner.
