This beer is sweeeet, almost a dessert ipa in my opinion. The taste is a sugary citrus rush of candied fruits. Definitely mango. The hops come through to balance it out but it certainly leans to the sweeter side instead o resiny bitterness. At 8% alcohol this is a beer i would have again but wouldnt be my first choice when reaching for a double ipa.

Nothing particularly exciting about this. If you've had the new Oskar Blue's IPA recently then this beer will taste far too familiar.

Light yellow, crystal clear. Smells of herbaceous hops and some bread malts. A little zippy. Taste follows nicely. No sign of alcohol at 8.0%.

The overall feeling with this one is that nothing is really invested into it. Very one noted. Nothing exciting. Almost watery.

Very reminiscent of Sierra Nevada Hop Hunter and the new Oskar Blue's IPA.

Tasty and fun at a 12$ 4-pack, but nothing exciting and creative.

As a final note... the fact that this drinks like a session beer, I would not consider it a "double IPA"
