Sour ale with apricots added, aged in oak barrels.

Bushels of juicy apricots and bright bursts of barrel-aged tartness are seamlessly infused to cultivate this deliciously distinctive and succulent sour ale.

Sample from a bottle at beer meets wood. Hazy peach color with a thin white head. Lots of apricot in the flavor and nose as well as plenty of earthy tart to counter. Nice sour.

Bought at an Adam Avery Cellar sale right before the pandemic. Poured a medium golden orange with little head. Initial nose of very strong, apricot and apricot pit with some spice some vanilla. Similar taste, but more of the oaky vanilla with extremely well-balanced tartness and moderate funk. The best of the green foils in my opinion.

22 oz bomber split with my wife, poured into a snifter. Pours a hazy light brown with a moderate, quickly fading head. Good amount of sediment. Aroma and flavor feature juicy stone fruit, strong acidity, oak tannins, leather, funk, and vanilla. The sourness is perfectly balanced by the warm vanilla and just the right amount of sweetness. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated and not too sharp or astringent. Really well done overall and IMO deserves much higher ratings. Incredibly drinkable and I'd gladly have this again any time. Reasonably priced, too - I think I paid $7.

This one is for Dad and my boy Grizz. It's Memorial Day and I'll see you two warriors on the other side

This beer pours up with very little head, but it is very lively with carbonation. Tons of rising bubbles, even after all this time. Lots of suspended sediment of all shapes and sizes. Slight apple cider vinegar on the nose - but it's mostly pleasant fruit notes of apricot and green apple. It tastes just fantastic. If the words "Apricot Sour Beer" perk you up at all, then this is for you. I couldn't imagine this being done any better. Slight barrel taste and the tart green apple meets with the apriocot and malt backing and twists around like a kaleidoscope. Finishes dry, with the apricot and barrel mixing insanely well in the aftertaste

I'm not overstating this: One of the best beers I've ever had. Perfect one to dedicate to some of the best ones I've ever known, two that I'll carry in my heart forever. Similar to how I'll always remember this beer and how fine it is. Please re-brew!

A - Pours a dark orange body, somewhat hazy but still transparent, with a cola-like white head that fades away to nothing. No lacing.

S - Primarily funk and minerality, a limestone core with fruity highlights.

T - Sourness is foremost, with an apricot kick, a mild core, and a sharp bright finish.

M - Very brisk carbonation, mild weight, subtle slickness.

O - Well built, a tasty and sharp sour. Delivers solidly on all cylinders but seems a bit basic.

Copper and slightly cloudy with loads of carbonation and a half finger of yellowish head.

Smells of funk and peaches, sour lambic quality, dried apricots, macaroni, and a hint of dust.

Sour forward brew with almost no sweetness. Apricots, lemon juice, dried apricots, macaroni and cellar.

Light feeling body with lots of carbonation. Tart, dry, acidic finish.

Got this one in Sacramento, drinking in Redding, Dec 27th, 2018. Excellent brew. A little made up in feeling in comparison to similar Belgian styles, but dry and very apricot forward.
